Excellent staff, Ok rooms, I can recommend it to anyone.

The safe in our room was broken. We couldn't use it. Once we had dinner and there were only 2 waiters in the restaurant. Although the waiter who served us was very nice, they were very slow. We waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and there were only 4 tables including us. With a 1.5 year old child on my lap, I would have appreciated faster service.

Everyone in the reception was very friendly Especially the one who helped us with the check in. The hotel is really close to a bus station where the 26 bus starts so we could sit on the top floor of the bus, which is basically a sightseeing tour. So the employees and location are perfect. The sauna and steamroom is awesome. I can only recommend this hotel. The breakfast was not the best i've ever had, but there are plenty of options and as someone with a dairy allergy, I really appreciate that.

    Nothing in particular.

Breakfast had a good selection, parking was good and close to buses into Edinburgh, the room was a little tired looking.

Room and entrance are nice. The corridors are dated and could do with a refresh.

The gym & sauna were good to use.

There was nothing I didn't like, rooms and corridors are a little dated but no big deal

Great hotel and the room are massive. If you're fortunate to stay at the back of the hotel, the views are amazing! Staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Only drawback is where it is, even though it states Murrayfield, it's the outskirts so a short taxi ride away, no big deal.

Due to wooden floors there can be rather annoying bumps heard in the room from the people in the room above especially when they are used to walking on their heels. Be cautious when pre-ordering a take-out breakfast if you plan to leave hotel before 6:45 when the breakfast starts. We agreed it on the reception and at the breakfast entrance but it was not ready and the morning crew did not know about it. Some hooks or hangers could be added in the bathroom for hanging towels or clothes. Breakfast could include some regular bread (not just toast), but I guess that it a local habit.

Nice location in a quiet neighbourhood. Nice room with a good view. Iron and iron-board included. Breakfast was very good. No exotic items but very good coffee types, all the essential warm items (eggs in two forms, beans, ham, haggis), cold items (salami, cheese), corn flakes, fruit and yogurt. Variety of pastries, some cold drinks. Very close to BUS 26 (drives through the centre and to the eastern beaches), 21, 1 and Airlink 200 to the airport. Room is big enough, bathroom also. Very nice and helpful personal at the reception.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a bus stop, where buses from the airport stop and you can also use local buses to go into the city center. Rooms are comfy and everything was clean. The breakfast buffet could have had a bit more options. Especially for toast and bagel toppings, there was only butter. No cream cheese, also no jam/marmalade. The cereal options were really great though.

Unfortunately, we were kept up with room above us walking about during the night. The floorboards kept creaking, it sounded like a herd of elephants. It was really loud. That was are only downside staying at the hotel.

The room was clean, cosy, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was really nice. There is a direct bus into Princes Street, right around the corned from the hotel.

the cost is cheaper outside of August - i have been looking at next year now, but the cost across all Edinburgh is ridiculously expensive.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. i accept that the Fringe and the Military Tattoo were on, but the the pricing due to demand is very high.

The cleanliness in the restaurant could have been better (a lot of fruit flies).

We arrived a bit early and was able to check-in to our room before check-in time. The room was very spacious with a view of Edinburgh. The beds were comfortable and the tea selection was amazing. The hotel has a spa section with a pool, gym, sauna and steam room. We enjoyed the spa section, but it was a bit full. We also ate in the restaurant and the service was good and so was the food.
