We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomClearer instructions on how the parking worked.
We had a family room but it was actually two separate rooms that shared a bathroom which was great for us. We could see the planes from our windows. We were flying early the next morning and it was so easy to walk across the walkway straight into the terminal. Our room came with 8 days parking and this also worked really well although we had to chase the hotel for the form that we had to complete as it hadn't been sent through to us.

The facilities were excellent and the ambiance was exceptional. I have stayed at the |Sofitel Gatwick before as as that experience was so good I stayed again and I shall continue to do so. The whole experience was just wonderful...

They upgraded us to a huge room. The bed had to be one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in (and I have traveled extensively). We wish we had been able to stay longer so that we could enjoy it longer. The location was great. We just walked to the terminal. The staff was amazing and helpful.

AustraliaTerrible air conditioning. Room was a sweat box on a 16deg day. Worst part of the entire stay was my experience with the staff at La Terrasse Bar on the 10/6/24 at lunch time. Headed down from my room for a drink and a meal. Waited a long time for someone to lead me to a seat. Then another 10 min for a menu and asked what drinks. Another 10 mins for a tap beer. Then waited another 15 mins and gave up and headed up to pay as wasn’t waiting any longer. There were 13 people in the bar. Two staff members. Staff member apologized but it was the worst service I’ve encountered. I even got charged 12.5% service charge for my beer. WHAT SERVICE??
Great location. Complimentary basic mini bar was much appreciated. Check in staff were great. My request for a room fan also much appreciated

Trinidad and TobagoThe bathroom in our room flooded which was a very unusual experience given that we had been on tour for two weeks and had not had such an experience anywhere. The staff however, were prompted in bringing up large towels for the floor. I do hope the problem is rectified for the next guest in that room
Breakfast was a superb spread and the hotel is extremely well located between North and South Terminal so it was very easy for us to walk with our suitcases to either. The Sofitel Hotel is very modern, clean, elegant and nice appointed. We enjoyed a tasty meal at the Thai Restaurant and were able to take the bus very easily to the town centre of Crawley. The staff in receotion were extremely helpful in giving us directions.
