Dinner service in the restaurant was slow, but it was a Sunday night, and when the food arrived it was plentiful and well cooked.

Comfortable, clean and convenient. It was exactly what we hoped for.

The price for the spa should be in with your stay or at least get 50% off per person for staying customers.

The spa was gorgeous, rooms were clean , spacious and fully equipped.

We could not have the window open due to a noisy air con unit on the ground below our window. Resulting in our being hot and stuffy. We also could hear the fire doors opening and closing Late at night and early morning when guests were entering and leaving their rooms.

Lovely setting and walking distance to town. Nice breakfast pleasant staff.

The room was on 1st floor and a bit too far to walk to as my husband has mobility issues. This made it difficult with so many doors and luggage to encounter. The meal was good and plentiful, but we had to ask for the foccacia with the starter as it had been forgotten. It didn't taste great either.

The welcome was great and highly amusing with you resident ducks, Daphie and Donald! Lovely comfortable room. The restaurant staff were efficient and friendly and meal was plentiful tasty and vegetables were good.

The evening meal that was booked on the internet was pricey and we had to pay extra for certain additional items.

The position, as an easy walk to Llangollen town centre, staff were very customer friendly and countryside views are lovely. Spa facilities were great.

No wi-fi signal in my back of hotel bedroom maybe they could do with some boosters for better signal. The spa costs an extra ££10 for an hour and £2 for a towel even if you are a guest (unless you book through their own site). I found this off putting and didn`t bother to use the spa. The bar meals are expensive and they really need to sort out the bathrooms. The shower has half a door so bathroom floor gets very wet, the toilet roll holder is on the far side of the room from the toilet so unless you have elastic arms you can`t reach it and there is no shelf to put your toiletries.

Room was very nice the hotel is in a lovely location and the lounge and bar area are very nice. The carpark is large and it is only a short walk to the town centre. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Rooms are comfortable and bathroom facilities good.Nice breakfasts are served at 'The Wild Pheasant.'Parking is excellent which means you can walk into town - very handy on a bank holiday weekend.

The rooms were a tad dated but still nice.

The hotel was on a large property just on the edge of town, lots of parking and easy to find. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Town was just a short drive or walk away. Friendly and helpful staff. Would return.

Disappointed that there was such a large charge to add our dog to the booking. £30 per night seems steep when the rooms aren't cleaned daily.

Lovely place and very dog friendly. We've not stayed in a hotel with our dog before. Staff did so much to make everything simple.

Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. Eggs on first morning were over cooked and we had to ask for decaf teabags on all three mornings. Second morning we weren't even on the list for breakfast.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in for years. The food was average too, with the beef and vegetables served slightly warm and very fatty.

The location, the hotel and the staff were great.
