Hardly the hotel's fault but be aware that you're pretty high up compared to the city centre so prep hiking boots and maybe a Sherpa to get back up again.

    Gorgeous hotel with friendly staff.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had an excellent view of the city from my room. The hotel is early C19th so there are idiosyncrasies in the design internally.

Small lift, max 2 people. No aircon(knew that, so probably not fair to add that here). Room felt a little unclean

The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly. Bus stop opposite, park & ride bus 31. Bed comfy. Do not walk, as hill incline is mental. Get the bus.

Parking was a bit tricky in the area as we arrived very late and the car park was full.

Really liked the hotel and our room. Enjoyed a full english for breakfast, toast and muffins. Comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely white sheets and soft white large bath towels. Room was quiet and had a lovely garden patio and pretty view. Shower was perfect. Room had everything we needed - kettle, choice of teas, water and glasses, biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and TV. Bathroom has body/hair wash. The staff were all nice and friendly

The room did not have a view.

The standard room was a great value for money: comfortable and clean. We got a discount perhaps because it was on Sunday. There’s a bus from city centre so climbing the hill to reach here was not too much of a problem.

The lift wasn't working though staff were eager to help carry suitcases.

Location good for view especially at night. Being on top of a hill we were reliant on buses which were good. Good breakfast and evening meals. Great atmosphere first night in restaurant. Loved G&Ts!

Unfortunately there is no AC although there is a fan in the room. It wasn't necessary for us at this time but I can imagine it may be hot in the summer months.

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful as well as professional. Onsite parking was one of the reasons I booked the hotel and it was very convenient and easy to access.

Room was on the 3rd floor and was too hot, no air conditioning so we had to put the fan on which was noisy. Limited head height in parts of the room.

Staff very friendly, nice building and outside garden. Good location, close to Bath centre.

Room temperature was difficult to regulate and ran warm the entire time. The walk from the elevator to the back section of the hotel with luggage was a struggle. Our shower didn’t drain well but was a nice room otherwise. Also, the back section was quite noisy as doors seemed to slam shut and there was a larger gap under the door so it got loud.

The decor and the vibe of the hotel was lovely. Location was decent but that hill is no joke to walk back up every day. Staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Our room was down a little corridor, where we could hear our neighbours talking when they returned to their room. Due to creaky floorboards, aware of the guests above us walking around. Nature of the building I guess, not enough to put us off staying again.

Lovely to park up and walk into the centre. Staff very cheerful and welcoming. Check in and out straightforward. Hotel had a nice feel to it with great looking dining area and bar. Our room was booked as small, but bigger than expected. Cooked breakfast very tasty. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Iron was provided but ineffective. Was going to have a drink in the bar after a meal out but smell of deep fried food was very strong.

Room was newly decorated, comfortable bed, good shower, pleasant staff, manageable walk into town, parking for £10 from early in the day prior to check in.
