My room was at the far end of the top floor. The lift was out of order. The guy on reception carried my case up for me but it was a long walk.

breakfast fine. Location great. Room comfortable. All staff helpful

There could have been more milk provided on the tea tray and possibly more tea options eg: some herbal teas included.

This was my second time staying at the Lansdown Grove Hotel and I enjoyed it very much. It's in a great location high above the city, so great views and a feeling of being in a peaceful spot. The gardens are lovely, staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms very comfortable. We had a room with an outside patio which was ideal for relaxing in the sun in a private space. There is an atmosphere of quiet gentility and elegance.

Will stay again. But it is not cheap and so I am less inclined to forgive them for a below-par breakfast.

Coffee machine needed descaling and didn’t seem to have been checked in a while. Did feel very expensive with no breakfast and were only basic toiletries, but possibly that was the time of year.

Lovely location, staff were excellent. Clean room and very flexible with check in. Held our bags behind the desk while we went out after checking out and so friendly. Library/sitting areas were lovely.

Up a steep hill, not too bad but we walked everywhere so is worth considering if you aren't driving.

Lovely room and staff, beautiful building with great views, not too far from centre but far enough that its quiet

There wasn't enough parking for everybody so you had to hope a space was vacated to get a parking spot. Parking around the area is all permit parking so you can't leave it on the road.

the location was excellent. An easy walk to the centre of Bath but a quiet area at night. the room and bathroom were excellent - really comfortable and spacious

Lift not working at time of visit. Lots of stairs. Parking always a problem in city. Location is on a steep hill and although on a well serviced bus route, buses do not run for evening return so taxi only option or walk!

Clean and tidy and not too far from city centre

The duvet on the bed was too thick and hot, and was the only bedding option. Would have liked to have at least a top sheet so when the duvet was too hot, you could just sleep under the sheet. Besides that was a very lovely short stay.

Very clean and tidy. Room was lovely and warm on arrival.

Our room was fairly easy to find using the lift, but we got lost when we tried it on foot and took some time to find our way.

The Hotel is very easy to get to and has lovely views over Bath. The staff were helpful and the room clean and nice. The Hotel is conveniently adjacent to a Bus stop into central Bath, saving a car ride in (really hard), or walking (a little steep for us).
