We had a lovely stay here- the rooms are a good size and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! They’re very dog friendly and our dog loved the gardens, the view from the back garden is beautiful. We’ll definitely come back and stay for longer next time.

If there had been an option for evening dinner it would have been the icing on the cake and the host would like to offer this. However, the fallout from Brexit and the 90 day rule has meant a huge deficit in available hospitality staff in places like the Lake District. Therefore, until something changes do offer more longterm stability to the hospitality recruitment market it is unlikely the accomodation will be able to offer evening meals.

The host was wonderful, the room was cosy, the non-English breakfast was great. No foul smells of congealed animal fat wafting from the kitchen like some Toby Carvery from the 1970s.

Suruchi was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and welcoming and was on hand to help me with anything I needed. The breakfast was top tier and I'd go back just for that! The views were also fantastic and easy to get to

One of the friendliest hosts we have ever met. Suruchi makes you feel at home. The property is well-maintained, clean and calm. Rooms are spacious, contemporary and cosy. Breakfast was delicious. The property has a large open area/garden at the back and it would be nice for a family or a group to spend an evening with a view. We received a lot of tips and info about the area, free parking spots around Keswick, attractions and places to dine from Suruchi which came in handy. The property is easy to locate and access compared to many other locations in the Lake District and comes with free parking. It is highly recommended.

The bed/mattress was a little firm for our liking, but if that was the only issue we had, then all in all I'd say we had a lovely time.

Our hostess was amazing! Every morning we had a hot, cooked breakfast made for us, catered to allergies and preferences, and we were greeted by a fresh pot of tea and a fresh pot of coffee, too. If we had any questions or concerns, they were both listened to, understood, and acted upon accordingly in a swift manner. We were also given great recommendations for local attractions and Cafés/restaurants, which was very much welcome. We could not have asked for a better experience, and can not thank Suruchi and her family for making our anniversary holiday feel spectacular. We're already looking forward to coming back.

Nothing, but as all good things, they have to come to an end.

Suruchi looked after us splendidly. Our room, garden, lounge, and breakfast were perfect. From greeting us on arrival to saying goodbye, we could not wish for a better host to stay with. We felt very much in a home from home environment as nothing was too much for her to help us out. We don't usually use the lounge area as they feel a bit uncomfortable. This time, it was like we were part of the family.

The only thing that wasn’t to our liking was the tea bags in our room and that’s really a matter of taste.

Suruchi was a lovely welcoming host, she made both my partner and I feel very welcome and comfortable. No ask was too much she brought a heater up to our room so we could dry our clothes out, and the kitchen facilities were great so we could cook our own dinner. She let us book in a few days early when our camping trip was derailed due to the weather and let us leave our stuff in the room whilst we went off camping for one night. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice for cold food and the hot food was good. Would highly recommend and stay again.

We had a very warm welcome when we arrived with a tour of the facilities. The room was lovely and the four poster bed was comfy. The breakfast options were very nice, particularly the vegan omelette.

Signage off the busy A66 road is quite small. However, I believe there are restrictions to size etc. Just keep a good look out for it.

The location is great but not a lot of walks are possible directly from the property, if not using the car.

Comfortable room and very good showers. Ample parking and beautiful garden. Great welcome from the host who very kindly tried to meet all our needs. The B&B also has a kitchen which could be used by guests as well as a lounge area. Good and plentiful vegetarian breakfast, cooked to order.

An option for non vegetarian breakfast would be nice although the breakfast provided was very good.

Suruchi is a fantastic host. Always friendly and very helpful, nothing is to much trouble. She cooks an excellent breakfast.
