Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLocation is spectacular. Beautiful 360 degrees views with roaming sheep, horses and cows. The pod overlooks a small lake a 500m walk up a hill from the farmhouse and feels very private and immersed in nature. The owner was also very friendly with good banter and took the time to walk us up to the eco pod. FYI, there is a toilet up by the pod but no running water. A couple of bottles of water are provided but I’d recommend taking extra. Overall great place to stay and I would definitely go back!

United KingdomThe most beautiful and peaceful place we've stayed at. The pod is located far from the road, all you can hear is wildlife. Perfect to switch off and relax. Lovely owners, very kind and friendly. We are definitely coming back.

United KingdomNothing apart from that I didn’t realise there wasn’t a water tap next to the pod. However, my hosts Julie and David were very friendly and offered to bring extra water. There were two bottles already in the pod. Also they will help bring belongings uphill on the farm quad bike if you like. Beautiful place overlooking a small lake surrounded by trees. Some cows and sheep on adjoining land which were no trouble.
I absolutely loved the location. It was tranquil and would suit nature lovers who can manage a 10 min walk upwards along a field path with their kit to be rewarded with a special non overlooked pod with garden furniture to sit out on and watch the wildlife. The pod has a small strip light via a solar panel which I hadn’t anticipated and didn’t use as I had camping lights. I believe the pod is heated in cold weather. There is a composting toilet cubicle adjacent. No running water. The pod has a very comfortable double bed with extra blankets , rugs on the floor and two plastic chairs and small side tables. It is compact but cosy and you can watch the stars if it’s a clear night. Check in and check out was easy and non intrusive. I had a fantastic night sleep, woken early morning by the birds and a curious lamb looking through the door.

United KingdomNothing to not like about this place.
Pictures do not do this little gem justice ,the pod is perfect with a lovely comfotable bed and your own little eco toilet situated just at the side .The view from the seating area is absolutely serene and the sounds from all the animals is just beautiful. Also a big thanks to David from the farm who kindly brought us a flask of coffe in the morning❤️will always return the this little slice of heaven.

United KingdomA bit of push to get there on a loaded bike, limited facilities within walking distance and limited walking. The short walk to a tower was fun once you negotiated the fallen trees.
I liked the remoteness but appreciate others may not. A great place to read, write or paint. Provision of a flask of hot water on arrival, with tea or coffee, was great and much appreciated. Lovely views.

United Kingdomleaving, could have stayed longer,
Beautiful location on a working farm, stunning views, POD was comfortable on a cold evening and soon warmed up, Toilet was clean and better than anticipated, Owners were very helpful and assisted in taking our luggage up to the pod (something we didn't expect), This is "back to basics" accommodation that is clean, comfortable and set in a great location, If your looking for an outdoor experience with more comfort than camping this is it, USB sockets and LED lighting in the pod were a nice touch,

United KingdomThe stars were amazing from the pod, due to no light pollution. The bird song was amazing. Excellent location. The bed was comfortable, the pod was really clean, little extra’s bottles of water and a potable charging unit were great. The owners went above and beyond to be helpful. We couldn’t find the location and they came to us, so we could follow them. If you want to visit somewhere to totally switch off/ be off grid with amazing views this is the place. I’d definitely recommend.

United KingdomThe pod can be a little difficult to find, especially in the dark so bear in mind it's best to arrive in sunlight hours. Somewhere sheltered to put muddy shoes would be nice, so shoes don't have to be kept inside the pod making it wet and muddy.
Brilliant view and location. Hosts were extremely friendly and had lots of interesting knowledge of the area. It was clean and comfortable. The toilet was quite nice, better than expected. Very basic but you know what you're getting when you book. It was cold (no heating in the pod) however plenty of blankets and a hot water bottle was in the bed so we soon warmed up. The full power bank provided to charge phones was a thoughtful addition.

United KingdomAlthough it wasn't an issue for me, some may find the lack of a shower or running water an inconvenience.
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Although it was rather wet and windy while I was visiting, the pod stayed relatively warm and had plenty of extra blankets if I needed them. The view and area was astonishing, it was almost silent apart from the wind and the birds. I had an absolutely fantastic visit.

The location of the pod was nothing short of breathtaking. Over looking a lake and the views across in all directions was stunning. Loved how secluded you felt. The hosts were amazing and couldn't be more helpful. They kept in touch checking if I was ok and if I needed anything. Extra duvet and blankets were given due to cold temperature. Honestly, this is a little gem.

United KingdomThe steep climb up the hill to the pod. It's unavoidable but it made us think hard about what to take with us to avoid unnecessary repeat journeys.
