We received a lovely warm welcome from the host. The location was picturesque and peaceful. The facilities were great quality which made for a very comfortable stay and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We loved the hot tub!

Lovely welcome from Debbie. Everything you could hope for and more exceeds your expectations. Comfortable bed and shower lovely and hot. Bathrobes and towels supplied. Hope to go back soon. Shops only 5 miles down road and pub that does food. Hot tub brilliant and easy to use. All kitchen utensils etc there and very clean. Scenery beautiful.

nothing I can add here its a well thought out little cabin in a nice quiet location away from it all with all the luxury of home nothing negative about the place.

We loved every part of it from the cabin its self fully equipped for all your needs and a really stunning place to feel relaxed and away from it all! the hot tub was fantastic and easy to use and Debbie was always on hand to help if you needed we couldn't of asked for better hosts Debbie and Barry have a lovely property and we are pleasured to have stayed and spent time with them fantastic people good hearted and welcoming we look forward to our return in the future.

Amazingly friendly and sincere welcome, fabulous cabin beautifully appointed with everything needed for a self-catering stay. The hot tub was wonderful as was the tranquility of the location. Debbie was so kind; realising that we were hiking from Alston on a shockingly cold and wet day, she dashed out and bought us provisions to help us (cakes, fruit, milk, porridge). I have rated places 10/10 before which, looking back, weren't as good as this, therefore I wish I could rate 'Lakes and Eden Valley' 11/10. Thank you Debbie for an amazing experience.

There is nothing I didn’t like 🙂

The cabin was immaculate, so clean and tidy. It had everything we could possible need in there. There were maltesers and cookies waiting in the lodge for us on arrival! Such a lovely touch. The bed was so comfy. The location was so quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was lovely and private. Debbie was amazing and went above and beyond for us, giving us lifts to and from a few places. Thank you so so much.

Everything, from first arriving Debbie was absolutely amazing, explained everything, very welcoming. Then going into the cabin was nice and warm and the hot tub was bubbling away nicely for us to just go straight in. Absolutely perfect

I couldn’t fault a single thing about the property, it had everything we needed and then some.

We arrived and was greeted by Debbie who was so lovely and showed us to the cabin, where things were and how to use the hot tub. Arriving to some biscuits and chocolate was a really nice touch and it had everything we needed from board games to a hair dryer and robes. The area was perfect for some hikes and we chose to go up high cup nick but there was numerous to choose from. Perfect place to stay if you love a hike. I didn’t have high expectations from a bed in a cabin but I think I had the best two nights sleep I had in years. The hot tub was perfect for the two of us, very relaxing and well maintained. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Absolutely loved the property! Gorgeous little find, my fiancé and I went to celebrate our engagement and we loved it! Great location, Debbie is a wonderful host showing us how to use the hot tub and leaving us a few snacks. There’s even board games in the cabin, she really thought of everything for us! Will definitely be back, thanks for an amazing stay! Also super clean, loved it x
