The bathroom was tiny, and the bathroom door didn't quite work right. If your visiting with two people they might be too small

Good location to Edinburgh, bus stop in front of the Inn. Takes about 45 min to get you to princess street. Especially when there is a lot of traffic. The accommodation is above an bar so it can be a little bit noisier at night. But I didn't mind that

The room was very small, we couldn't shut the window as it was held open by a block of wood. The traffic noises from being on the main road were loud and the bar noise is very loud as well, especially when people leave and are shouting as they go!

The staff are friendly and the bar is nice. The restaurant serves lovely food.

    Everything was fine

The breakfast was very good quality with a good choice of food. Dinner was also very good and reasonably priced, we ate there both nights of our stay. The room was on the smallish side, I assume the accommodate the en-suit. The room was well presented and fine for a short stay. All the staff were brilliant!! There is a bus stop outside with regular buses into Edinburgh running late into the night.

Perfect location for visiting Edinburgh. Free easy parking. Bus stop right outside the property. Cost into the city £2, travel time 20 mins, bus every 15 mins. Drops off in the centre at Princess Street. Excellent breakfast, staff very helpful. We had evening meal both nights, good selection of meals. Room a little tired, but it's an old building. Very clean, would stay again. Lovely bar for evening drinks with entertainment some nights.

Only negatives were a broken part on shower riser didn't affect use of the shower just means had to be used hand held .. reported to management who said would look into it when we left Also we were in room 11 and although nice spacious room we did get a fair bit of traffic noise all through the night as on main road so would choose a room.at back of hotel next time as seems much more quiet!

We recieved a very friendly welcome shown to our room as soon as we arrived Nice spacious room clean and comfy beds Modernised shower room en suite Had a drink at bar very good selection of drinks and reasonable prices We ate in the restaurant excellent chicken curry and a beef and ale pie great value and really tasty would definitely reccomend service was excellent too food arrived very quickly! Also bus stop right outside number 31 to get you into Edinburgh for £2 each And N31 brought us back after midnight for £3 each so easy and a good service Booked breakfast previous night of a full Scottish breakfast and was Really good well cooked and tasty plentiful and good service too

There was very little to dislike.

This property is on the outskirts of Edinburgh but there is a Bus Stop at the front door. The owner and the staff were fantastic and helpful. We ate in the hotel and breakfast was also great with a wide variety of options.

Had to kneel on the floor to plug in kettle , lead not very long as travel kettle. Could of done with an extension lead Both wall light and table lamp need bulb changing as hardly giving off any light No lock on sliding bathroom door, so felt a little exposed as sharing room with my brother ! Not able to move TV for other bed to see it.

Breakfast was amazing- hot and plentiful Asked for a bigger cup for my tea - got one and no problem Bus stop right outside. Most of staff very friendly. ( older lady seemed very rude towards us )

Our room was located just above the local bus stop. So, there was the noise of the buses and the non-stop traffic throughout the night. We couldn’t close the window because we needed the air circulating in the room. There was also, on the Sunday night, a lot of noise from the pub below which made it difficult to sleep. There was dust under the beds which seemed to be something that had been overlooked for some time.

The dinners and breakfasts were really quite good. We enjoyed the food a lot! The beds were comfortable.

The road out front was the busiest we have ever seen, we had double glazing in our room which kept out the noise but we were there at the hottest days so far for us this year, as there is no air con we had to open the windows for fresh air and of course the constant road noise. As the beds were so comfy we did sleep but the traffic noise was constant from about 5am. Not the hotels fault they can't help where they are and it wont stop us going back.

Beds very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere.
