Clean, well furnished and a delightful space to stay in. In addition we had an issue where our dog caused some extra cleaning to be needed. Gill dealt with it in a very fair and reasonable way. Highly recommend.

There is nothing that I could have asked for more than was already provided.

The cottage was beautiful and in a beautiful river setting. It was a great size inside and very comfortably furnished with fresh flowers in the dining and living room. The addition of the tea and coffee, with some fresh milk was a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated fine touch. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sofa was also very large and felt luxurious, enough to fit even more than the 4 of us, that sat around the lovely fire in the evenings. The bathroom was very spacious and offered a large roll top bath, which two of our part made full use of after the gruelling hike up Ingleborough in the awful weather.

Location was great, although getting up the hill to the pub was hard work, just made it all the more worthwhile ;)

The house was too cold with no way of us turning the central heating on, despite us leaving the house in immaculate condition and stripping all the bedding as requested, it took 10 days & a complaint to get our deposit back.

The bed in the master bedroom was a little bit uncomfortable. I prefer a firmer mattress. It was a bit difficult to regulate the heating. It was quite cold upstairs and the thermostat seemed to be locked, so we couldn’t adjust it.

Beds weren't great, far too soft with no support.

Located handily for our 3 Peaks Challenge. Didn't get to see much as arrived late in the dark, left property in the dark Saturday morning and returned end of day in the dark, so didn't see much of location. Property had 3verything we needed, was clean and cosy, no issues.

We knew before booking about the outside space, but it wasn’t really suitable for our dog. Also the sitting out area at the back of the property wasn’t great due to being near the dustbins. Also a binder with local information on GP, vets, etc. would be very useful to have, as we have found in other properties we’ve stayed in.

We loved how comfy the sofas and beds were, perfect after a lot of walking. It was wonderful to have the river flowing at the back. Everything in the village was easily accessible on foot which was great. No need to pack loads of food as lots of availability in the village. The smart TV was a big hit so we could log in to Netflix after a busy day!

Lovely, deceivingly spacious cottage. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels. Everything you could need in the kitchen and a spacious dining area inside and out on the wee patio area, with a magical view of the river and viaduct. The neighbours are nice too! There’s also LOADS to do in the local vicinity and a handy base for day trips driving out and about.

Nothing to do with the cottage, but so many mosquitos due to heat and being so close to the water so pack insect repellent if going in warm weather

Such a well equipped, cute little cottage. Perfectly placed in Ingleton for the little village centre and the waterfalls. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and so peaceful and quiet. Perfect spot for a getaway in North Yorkshire
