Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

KuwaitThe sofa was comfy and in front of the bed, however it was longer than the bed which made the entrance to the bathroom a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom door and windows made a squeaky sound whenever opened and closed.
The location is great. Many grocery shops, restaurants, and cafes were very close by. 1 minute walk to Bayswater underground station and 3 minutes walk to Hyde Park.

United KingdomI would say the room was really small, with just enough space to manoeuvre around the bed to walk around it. But this is in the middle of London, and I can't imagine there'll be a lot of hotels with spacious beds unless it's a 5 star one or something. Also, we couldn't open the windows, but we were below ground level, so that could be the reason why. None of these felt like big issues to us.
The hotel was really comfortable. Very clean and meticulously arranged. We got complimentary tea and coffee sachets, and there was an empty fridge in the room where we could store drinks and food. The bathroom was nice, very modern, with a marble sink and a marble shower. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay there.

The Staff was always kind, especially, Jilhane. She remembered us from our visit almost a year ago and welcomed my daughters and I with a warm smile and lovely greeting each time we passed her at the reception desk.
