Lovely hotel - photos & description are an accurate depiction. Central location for shops, restaurants & convenient walking distance from the railway station. Very comfortable double-room with modern bathroom & shower mixer tap operation that was so simple & not the typical, usual UK 'adventure of discovery' ! As my husband & I are in our ‘senior’ years, I requested if possible, a room on the ground floor - being from Australia & travelling for 2 & a half months, our suitcases were a little heavier than normal (!) & having to negotiate stairs somewhat of a challenge !!! Happily my request was promptly answered & able to be met with a guarantee that we'd be accommodated in a ground floor room - I /we sincerely appreciated this consideration. Both upon check-in & check-out the following day, we were welcomed & farewelled by very efficient, professional members of reception staff. We enjoyed a lovely meal & drink in the bar in the evening on the night of our arrival & a hearty breakfast the following morning. We highly recommended this hotel to future guests.

Price.

The food was delicious, staff pleasant, we did the NC500 and this was the dearest hotel on our 11 hotel and B&B stays. Our thoughts on the price compared to all the others was over priced.

Hotel is looking a bit tired and was relatively costly for quality of accommodation.

We were a group of 9 motorcyclists staying over before a trip round Skye. Reception, bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. Although we'd been told in advance that we wouldn't be able to eat together in the restaurant, they managed to rearrange the seating for us which we appreciated. Good service from all areas.

The room & bathoom were small. Kyle was not as we had expected but the Loch was beautiful. Easy access to the Skye Bridge from hotel.

Disappointment at breakfast as mentioned above.

Location was ideal for a stop over on NC500. Room was small but adequate. Evening meal was very tasty and plentiful, however breakfast was a little disappointing. Plenty of choice from the buffet but, even although I was at breakfast at opening time, the cooked selection appeared to have been in the heated dishes for some time. A cook to order would have been better.

Mum would have liked a rubber bath mat in the shower, as she was afraid of slipping.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, but particularly Dave in the bar. He went the extra mile to make sure my Mum was well looked after.

Bathroom had a damp smell despite looking like it had been newly refurbished. Breakfast didn’t start until 7:30am so we got a breakfast bag to leave with but it was full of sugary items

It is a cozy hotel in a wonderful location, very near to the Isle of Skye, in a small village with all the facilities. The hotel staff was at all times attentive and pleasant and we felt very comfortable. In addition, it was very convenient to have parking. We would stay there again for sure.
