Quirky old cottage in a perfect location.

As a very old cottage some low ceilings and sloping floors upstairs but not a problem

Perfect location, 10 mins walk into Keswick. Pub across the road. All mod cons in the kitchen and lovely wetroom/bathroom downstairs

The only real criticism was the lack of decent mirrors (a full-length one would've been appropriated)and bright lighting in the bedrooms.

It was a lovely, quirky house with many endearing features. The location was excellent with easy access to Keswick Centre. The Pheasant pub across the road provided a friendly welcome and delicious food.

The amount of flies but except for fly traps there's not much that can be done unless you don't open windows

Beautiful place with a lot of character. Secure parking and the proximity to the town centre meant we didnt use our car much. The PUB across the road serves a good meal.

Couldn't find the property on Google Maps, which takes you to a different location. Booking.com's location finder also useless. But the property is basically across the street from the Pheasant Inn, which is easily located on Google Maps. That would have been very helpful to know. Also, couldn't find instructions for either Wifi or the TV. So, couldn't find channels on the TV and Netflix was unusable (couldn't figure out how to use my own account and the account on the TV wouldn't work). The TV seemed to want us to sign up for some subscription service called "Now." (I think that was it. It was 2 nights ago as of review.) No thanks. Unlike other properties we've stayed at, host didn't supply any soap/shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms. No paper towels in the kitchen. Plenty of detergent for the laundry, though.

It's a nice property, but built in the 1600's. So, the upstairs flooring is uneven and there are low beams on stairs and leading into bathrooms. Quite comfortable for a hobbit, but lots of crouching for someone 5'6" or taller. That said, it's kinda cool to stay in such an old property. Has both clothes washer and separate dryer, unlike other places we've been to in UK. Has Wifi, though you might not realize that until you locate the actual Wifi device. (Check back of device for password.) Comfortable beds. Good lighting. Nice bathrooms/showers.

Low ceilings, husband couldn’t stand up in shower. Bedroom floors are very rustic!

High spec of kitchen and bathrooms. Cosy cottage feel. Easy walk into Keswick. While it’s close to a busy road the double glazing is excellent so no noise to speak of.

Cottage was beautiful very well equipped with high end white goods and furniture. Ideal location and just across the road from the Pheasant pub which served great food. The property is quirky and the floors upstairs are on a bit of a lilt but it just adds to the charm .we had a wonderful stay and look foward to returning soon

    Nothing not to like really.

House was very well equipped. Warm and comfortable. Great location for walking the Cumbrian way, Skiddaw and other Hills. The Pheasant Pub opposite was fab for a bite to eat after a long walk and there's the Filling Station, a cafe literally next door to get a fry up and hot drink or cold if you need to. All equipment in the house was brand new and very well looked after.

Some things to consider. Somewhere to hang wet coats inside . A lamp or two in the sitting area. Overflowing rubbish bins at the entrance to parking. This was probably due to the rescheduling of xmas collections.

Newly renovated property. Great well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds with quality bedding. Great bathrooms. Location with parking .

It is an old property so some of the beams are low this was not a problem and it adds to the comfort but someone over 6ft 2 might struggle

The property is lovely all the facilities appear brand new and there is everything you need. It is located just outside Keswick centre close enough to walk and ample parking for guests

Amazing period property done up with all the mod cons. Everything you could need was there, even a pub serving great food just over the road. The farm house was immaculate, the beds comfy and a lovely welcome tray in the kitchen. We loved all the quirky details in this 17th century farmhouse, only a ten minute walk along the river to the centre of town. Barbara couldn’t have done enough to help with any questions I had.
