Bed sheet was dirty so I flipped it to the bottom I'm a house keeper and would never had place that sheet on the bed. The mattress needed to go to the tip the springs were very uncomfortable and huge dips on either side of the bed .

restaurant was little bit too crowded, there almost wasn't free table to have a dinner. But it was fine.

The layout was a bit confusing. It wasn’t clear where we should check in when we arrived.

Location was great as a stopping point between the Hebrides and the Orkneys. The people who run it and work there are lovely.

Some strange noises - machine generated - woke us in the morning. They are very loud. Unsure what it was but it does get in the way of our sleep.

Location is everything. Staff is helpful, super nice and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well.

I couldn’t find a single thing that I didn’t like about my stay everything was first class. And actually we were on motorbikes and got soaked because of the weather but the Hotel had a “Drying Room” where we could dry our biker clothes so that was a big plus for us.

The entire property was clean well furnished and modern with rooms well appointed and very comfortable.

Dinner was provided in a side room to the bar, instead of the much nicer room where we had breakfast, and access to the bar, for residents, was essentially through the staff/kitchen entrance.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the loch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast room also had a lovely view of the loch and was bright and cheery. The quality of food at dinner was excellent.

The bedrooms are small and a bit expensive.

The breakfast and the view from the breakfast room, the kindness of the staff (the two young men at the bar are really kind and know their job), the food is really good at the pub.

Poorly ventilated, stuffy rooms. (We opened windows.) Bathroom fan didn't work. Two nights in a row (out of three) very loud music started up from the cabin next door in the middle of the night, and one of the hotel bar staff was among those partying. It was loud enough that I saw another guest leaving their room between midnight and 1am to ask them to turn it down.

Great restaurant, beautiful location. Rooms were made up daily.

Great location just along the loch from Eilean Donan castle and handy for Skye. A delightful old hotel with quirky staircases and corridors. Modern breakfast room and comfortable lounges.

Difficult to find someone to check in so we had to come back outside to bar , there was a note on Che knob desk to this effect

Breakfast was nice but we had to sit away from the breakfast room due to our dog, but we were fully aware of this

We arrived at around 6pm and didn’t know how to check in as the reception was closed. We had to wander around the building until we found someone in the kitchen to help us. On our second evening we returned late around 10pm and had been locked out. We luckily found a door to an empty hotel room that had been left open and walked through this to gain access, not ideal!

Beautiful location, spacious and comfortable room, really appreciated the welcome gift basket, had a lovely meal in the restaurant

Fan in bathroom, shower room took long time to go off so you heard it if through night you got up to go.

Area was beautiful, hotel was lovely, staff very helpful and friendly, food was delicious, can't fault it.

We were a group of 11 people in 6 rooms, unfortunately some of our rooms didn’t meet the expectations, they were not at the same standard as the others, yet the same price… for instance I. Some there was a little basket with biscuits and small treats, in others there weren’t any… it created a bit of funny feeling within the group, for the people who didn’t get the same treatment… not ok! The breakfast seemed ok, but they need to pay extra attention to either products labels, or storage facilities as some of the bread slices had mould…

Comfortable rooms, some of them… good and tasty food in the evening in the pub they have downstairs. Good service.
