The television signal was very intermittent, which seemed to be fixed at one point of my four night stay, but then the problem returned. I cannot say it spoilt my holiday but it was annoying on return late evening to not be able to watch something, and similarly before Breakfast. Thank you.

The Breakfasts and location and staff were great. It seems unusual for such choice in cooked breakfast, which I am grateful for and took advantage of.

The room was relaxing and cool with the air conditioning, which was required as the weather was hot and sunny The breakfast was ideal and all cooked options were available. We enjoyed the full English breakfast.

As a disabled man, with very limited mobility, I always book places to stay that can cater for my needs. We have stayed at The King’s Arms before - and it is perfect for my needs. However, during our recent stay - nobody had informed me (prior to our stay) that, due to the village’s annual Heritage Day, we would have to park the car in their sister-hotel, The Crown (a couple of hundred yards down the road) for a couple of days. The staff in The Crown were superb - and nothing was a bother - but the walking between the venues caused me a great deal of pain. Consequently, I will be reluctant to return.

It’s a fabulous old inn - several hundred years old - and it still retains its original character. Many of the staff are extremely friendly and approachable - but a couple of them are dilatory and seemingly disinterested.

Nothing in particular other than walking over the cobbles to the ‘help yourself food’.

Breakfast was in the bar due to full house. No problems. Staff busy but helpful. Meal satisfactory.

Historic pub/hotel with lots of character. Lovely big room with immaculate modern bathroom with shower and bath. Comfortable bed. Large, marked out carpark to the rear. Pub courtyard area a real suntrap and great place to relax. Very good breakfast. Really enjoyed the continental options of fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, granola and compote. Also available pastries, porridge, full English/veg/vegan and egg selections. Staff welcoming and friendly. Amersham is a beautiful town and well worth a visit.

The shower cubicle had nowhere substantial to put the small tubes of shampoo and soap while using the shower. Consequently they fell on the floor.

Perfectly located in the Old Town, the bed was comfortable and my room was well furnished with a sofa and desk. There was a good selection of breakfast dishes available.

Bed was quite small, quite a basic looking room. The shower tap in the bathroom came off in my hand as it was not attached properly, and water leaking out the the side pipe. I just had to twiddle around until I got the shower working correctly. The breakfast, whist edible was not the best. I asked for my bacon crispy and arrived burnt!! Did not point this our as I do not like to complain.

Very pretty area, nice looking building, location was good. Rooms were clean and towels and bedding clean. Was easy to get to the next town via taxi. Staff were very friendly and professional and helpful.

My only concern was a missing curtain in my room.

The hotel has loads of character and is located in a very pretty town. My room was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The hotel does a very nice breakfast. I would use the hotel again.
