We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Great location right on the Badger Divide cycle route and secure storage of our bikes. Good size room and ensuite. Good breakfast. Staff at dinner and breakfast were very friendly

United KingdomLift out of service. Had to carry our own luggage up 3 floors! No offer of assistance. Receptionist needs some customer service training, she was very abrupt and rude on our checkout. Friendly manners don’t cost anything so put a smile on your face at least or get a new job that is not front of house.
Clean room and nice restaurant. Our server was excellent, a lovely friendly Indian guy who managed to serve a busy restaurant all on his own and still managed a smile and some friendly chat.

United KingdomI had booked the annex, ground floor access room for my in-laws which aren't great with stairs. The booking was changed without us knowing and defended as being an upgrade. However, the room was upstairs within the hotel and the lift wasn't really useable. It made it harder for my in laws to get to their room compared to the intended booking. Staff justified it as the annex needed repair, water issues or other. But also as three were available and they just thought they'd be more comfortable upstairs, without any consultation. It was disappointing, but they were very good at reducing our restaurant bill to apologise for the inconvenience.
We booked as a gift to my in laws and they had an enjoyable stay with a nice room. The facilities within the hotel were good, bars and restaurant.

ItalyAlthough the room was newly renovated, the structure is old. The soundproofing is not great, the plumbing is noisy and the neighbour's snoring drove me crazy. Recommended earplugs if you are sensitive (or unlucky like us!).
The location is beautiful, it is a historic inn by the river! Excellent restaurant and pub. Friendly and helpful staff. Newly renovated room, very clean and equipped with everything, comfortable bed and great shower!

Great location, new investment is definitely improving the fabric compared with a few years ago. Comfortable bed and good shower, generous tea making facilities. Good breakfast. Enjoyable folk music in the bar on Friday evening.

United KingdomWe were in the annexe due to having a dog with us and an old caravan was parked right in front of the window blocking any view. It was noisy due to the air conditioning units. The shower room was rather basic.
Lovely old hotel with superb restaurant. Beautiful setting by river. Angel in reception was helpful in finding a taxi for us.

United KingdomMattress was way to firm for us and we didn't get a great night's sleep and some areas of the hotel would benefit from modernisation, although the room itself was up to date. (I refer to corridors, staircases and bathroom being tired] but, it was clean and tidy which is the most important thing. It's worth noting that at the time of our visit some decorating works were being undertaken so the hotel management may already be addressing these aspects.
