We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Very good value for money, easy access to Crewe station to catch my train the next morning. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe location of the room in the hotel. A long distance from reception with a lot of stairs to climb and I have a back injury. The web picture shows beer taps and no draught beer being served very misleading and bad I thought. Especially a can of beer was sold for £3.80 which in the supermarket is £0.68p. I understand they have to make a profit but that is very bad.
Room size was good and ensuite good. Location also good.

Isle of ManFloorboards throughout the room were very uneven & squeaky. Guess it comes with the age of the building, but does need attention.
Staff courteous & friendly. An old building which has been renovated in reception area, with the remainder of the building in a reasonable state of repair. Room was larger than standard with all the usual facilities in working order, although some fixtures require updating. Bed comfortable. Excellent breakfast was provided with the cost of the room. Was used by me, as an overnight stay as it is very close to Crewe railway. station

United KingdomThey could be prepared at 7am for breakfast. The coffee machine and toaster were not turned on at 7am and the Orange juice was empty for 4 days, until I requested them to change for new box. Additionally, my room had moths constantly! I did report this at the end of my stay, I wasn’t complaining… but wanted to draw the attention to this for fumigation if needed or pest control?
Staff were amazing and very polite and respectful. Thank you.

The hotel has been closed to paying guests for several years, and therefore looks a little tired. The room however was clean and comfortable and enabled me to have a good night's sleep before my early start in the morning. For the price I pais I could not really grumble.

United KingdomThe building is old, so the floorboard crack. This and the old shash window facing the main road means there is a lot of noise. I had my earplugs. I could not lock the door at night (I am sure you needed the card to come in) so it did not feel 100%safe. Also, the whole hotel smells of a misture of dust/dump/smoke (that old carpeted places have).
Extremely convenient location (2 minutes from the rail station). I booked a single room but got a twin room. The room was big, the bed comfortablr, linens clean and there are all the essentials. 24/7 reception is also lovely.
