We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomThe rudeness from the general manager and being asked to wait for breakfast for more than an hour one day one and then 40 minutes on day two. When I told the GM that my parents had to take medication, the reply given "that's life" is appalling. The unprofessionalism of the GM discussing with other customers our wait and size of group to put five tables together to accommodate my group was disgusting, and the treatment we got when we were finally seated was a humiliating experience. I would not visit this hotel again as it is not appropriate for disabled people - no wheelchairs allowed in lifts. No food is allowed in rooms. Otherwise, you receive a fine. The only positive was the reception staff and the waiters in the dining area. I told told the GM he is in hospitality and should be hospitable to guests and not ignorant.
The location of the hotel was good and the rooms were clean.

This was our 4th visit to the Iris all with a Seaview. 3 previous were all exceptional. Our last Seaview room was disappointing, the windows were too high, without standing all the time to look out all you got was a view of the horizon. No good if you have mobility issues.

United KingdomTiny bit of lack of attention to detail. Mainly to do with fixtures and fittings which need a bit of TLC. The tea and coffee was hidden away with the kettle in a cupboard in the room but should just be left out as usual in a hotel room setting. More welcoming.
My only disappointment was the breakfast. I'd happily pay an extra tenner for a full english. Very good value for money and great location. Nice staff too.
