The property was a pub, so it was a bit noisy until after closing time. It was also right on quite a busy road. The cupboard door wouldn’t shut. The shower could have been warmer.

It was a lovely historic building. The room was a good size. It was tastefully decorated and appointed. It was very useful having a sofa bed. There was a good tv with lots of channels. There were plenty of sockets. The bathroom was a good size. It was close to the city centre.

It's a fair way out of the city centre, but if you just want a comfortable place to sleep and a good dinner it's perfect.

The additional sofa bed was not very comfortable. The window in the bathroom could not be opened.

There were a lot of parking places in front of the Inn. The staff was very friendly and helping in any way they could. The breakfast was good, we could order from the card a typical British Breakfast. Cereals or fruits were however not offered.

Oddly shaped room with not much hanging or drawer space. Unused area under the television.

Warm welcome. Comfortable room. Small but perfectly good bathroom with large shower. Plenty of counter space for toiletries etc. Responsive heating. Good breakfast and dinner options.

Beer garden - dirty - full ash trays on the tables been there for a while as they were full of butts and water - unkept area to rear entrance

We stayed in room 10 which faces the main road so we got some noise from the passing traffic. So when we stay next time we would prefer to book a garden facing room around the back of the hotel.

Staff all professional and friendly. Clean and tidy room with a very comfortable bed, so comfortable I missed breakfast 🤦🏻‍♂️

Bed too firm. Toilet position too close to wall and towel radiator, made use difficult. Loose toilet seat. Some lights in room not working.

Fabulous staff, nothing too much trouble,food exceptional. Restaurant/bar ambience relaxing and welcoming. Room very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking.

The staff, food and facilities were very good helped by being a short walk to the cricket ground - hence why booked.

I didn't like the fact that different members of the family paid more money than me but got less for their money. (Their breakfast was not included in the price )

The room was very comfortable and the food was very nice and the seating area outside was very nice. Great value for money. Also the hotel was very convenient for the wedding we were attending nearby.

Struggled to open the window, maybe a thought to be shown. There was a fan but it made too much noise.

The restaurant was good. The location was wonderful for visiting Canterbury city centre as it was right next to the Park & Ride.

All in all things were acceptable. Cost was a bit more than we expected

Staff were extremely helpful in all respects! Breakfast was great. Dinner was very good - enjoyed sitting outside with good service and no flies or mosquitos
