Beer garden - dirty - full ash trays on the tables been there for a while as they were full of butts and water - unkept area to rear entrance

No real complaints but a slightly larger area where you could just sit and have a drink without taking up a dining table would be nice

We stayed in room 10 which faces the main road so we got some noise from the passing traffic. So when we stay next time we would prefer to book a garden facing room around the back of the hotel.

Staff all professional and friendly. Clean and tidy room with a very comfortable bed, so comfortable I missed breakfast 🤦🏻‍♂️

Bed too firm. Toilet position too close to wall and towel radiator, made use difficult. Loose toilet seat. Some lights in room not working.

Fabulous staff, nothing too much trouble,food exceptional. Restaurant/bar ambience relaxing and welcoming. Room very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking.

Some minor cosmetic work is required in the building though not seen by visitors to the restuarant/pub

The staff, food and facilities were very good helped by being a short walk to the cricket ground - hence why booked.

Clean and comfortable with stress free parking. The room was very nice and although we were on top of a busy hotel we were not disturbed. The staff were great and the meals were very good and great value.

I didn't like the fact that different members of the family paid more money than me but got less for their money. (Their breakfast was not included in the price )

The room was very comfortable and the food was very nice and the seating area outside was very nice. Great value for money. Also the hotel was very convenient for the wedding we were attending nearby.

Struggled to open the window, maybe a thought to be shown. There was a fan but it made too much noise.

The restaurant was good. The location was wonderful for visiting Canterbury city centre as it was right next to the Park & Ride.

All in all things were acceptable. Cost was a bit more than we expected

As an old building, bedroom floors were creaky and every step taken in room above us sounded like an elephant was walking around. Also, we retired early due to having walked miles that day, and the bass sound of the bar music below thudded through until it stopped at 10pm (I did mention to staff member next morning, who apologised and explained that speakers are fitted high up near ceiling level downstairs - we had a first floor room). Overall though, a lovely place to stay.

Staff very friendly. Good position close to Park & Ride, but also good walk into city centre. Car parking free on site, (but must register vehicle inside at the bar). Good selection of food at restaurant. Breakfast is table service (not buffet), although you do get your own drinks. Lots of outside seating for when weather is good. Would recommend staying here.

there was nothing not to like . The staff were very welcoming . The hotel was clean and tidy. Easy access to Canterbury as it has a park and ride right next door to the hotel

Very nice place: proivate parking-rooms- restaurant <> good and quite position, outside the town but easily to reach it: you have to leave the car (lst 4) in the coach park and go/came back with a shuttle -bus to City Centre.
