Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing.
Stayed here for TT Practice week 2024. Very clean and tidy, great service from all of the staff. Choice and quality of the breakfasts was akin to a 4 star hotel - would 100% recommend.

United KingdomA brilliant hotel. Lovely comfy room. With the added surprise of a sitting room attached. A great selection of food at breakfast. They have a bar which looked great but we were out and about so much that we didn't have chance to drink there. Very easy access to beach, Manx trains and horse trams. Just across from the beach. The walk into town was easy. The staff were all lovely. I mislaid the room key and they were so laid back about it. Thankfully it turned up later.

United KingdomParking was initially tricky - on street parking outside is allowed for 16hrs out of 24hrs. However, we found a free car park, 10min walk at end of promenade, just beyond the electric tram stop.
Excellent location. Great staff. Standard room decor/furniture had been re-done recently and was smart.

United KingdomNot didn't like - but there's no way round having to go up a lot of steps (72) if you're on the 4th floor.

United KingdomEverything was great there was nothing to dislike.
A great property at the northern end of the promenade. It's modern and clean, handy for buses and team, comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast cooked to order, a great welcome from the staff who were always happy to help. Our party had 3 rooms, all of which were good. The sea view room had a wonderful view of the bay and promenade. Huge recommendation for Inglewood, Dimiter and the whole team. Thanks for a great stay. 👍

United KingdomVery little. TV system had been hit by storm and was awaiting repair. Hot water in basin/shower seemed to be on a timer and needed minor fix for early morning/late night washes.
Excellent location, very comfortable room, delicious breakfast, beautiful view across Douglas Bay and very friendly/helpful staff.

United KingdomNot didn't like - just temporary TV problems. In my first room (I made a late decision to book another night so had to move rooms) was freeview but all the BBC channels were missing for some reason - as I was out most of the time I didn't follow this up. In my final night room, the TV was a much bigger Smart TV, but the freeview box had a problem and as it was a Sunday, the support wouldn't come out. However, the TV was still connected to the internet so I was able to get to iPlayer, YouTube etc. Also, if you're not too mobile, only book a lower floor room...my final night was on the 4th floor, 72 steps from the entrance hall, which was fine for me but maybe not for others.
The Inglewood is well positioned at one end of the Douglas Promenade. My room and all of the public spaces were spotlessly clean. Everything looked relatively new. The breakfasts, all the usual items but particularly the full English, were superb - freshly cooked and generous portions. Staff/owners (I saw three) were very pleasant and helpful. Fast internet access - I measured it as 80mb download speed.

United KingdomNothing really except the rooms were not checked daily. If you ran out of toilet roll, you had to put a 'Please clean me' sign on the door handle.
We booked a room with a lovely sea view. It was large, airy and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit salad, continental and plenty of delicious hot options. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is located at the far end of the sea front. It is about a mile to the centre of Douglas, but that was not an issue. We either walked, caught the bus or the horse drawn tram. The hotel does not have a car park, but there was plenty of on-street parking and motorcycle specific parking directly outside. We had no problems parking our motorcycles, as this end of the prom is quieter out of season.

United KingdomThere was nothing not to like. It’s a 4* and what you would expect. One tiny thing is the breakfast meat sausage’s could be a better quality but I must say the vegetarian version were crispy and delicious.
Clean, warm, comfortable, great staff, fabulous breakfast. TV has Netflix and this was great to have as the weather was a bit iffy during our stay. Very welcoming staff. Easy access on arrival, with information given on where and how to gain key. Room was clean, bright and comfortable with nice white fluffy towels, soft white bedding and tea/coffee making facilities. White Company shower and hair products in black noir were a nice treat too. Dimitar was upbeat and friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. Chris cooking the fabulous breakfasts was also brilliant. We were lucky to have room 4 for our family of 3 and highly recommend Inglewood. We would definitely stay again. It’s close to the electric railway and it was fun to watch the horse drawn tram go up and down outside the window and to see the tide go in and out. The bus stop is opposite the hotel, which would be convenient if required. We had hired a car and parking was easy right outside the hotel during a bank holiday weekend.

United KingdomFor myself and my partner there wasn’t anything to dislike, the only problem we had were the stairs, and the access to the property for my mother in law, she struggled with the stairs, but she managed, and she had a wonderful time, and loved her stay there, as we all did.
The staff were very friendly, breakfast was amazing, really clean. We would definitely recommend and we would stay there again.

United Arab EmiratesWe had to run the water in the shower for 5 minutes or so before the hot water came through. Minor issue.
The staff were very friendly and were eager to help and provide information etc. The room was spacious with a beautiful full sea view. It was spotlessly clean and it had a seating area with a 3 seater sofa. The bed was super comfy. There was also tea/coffee/biscuits etc which was replenished daily. The room was spotlessly clean. Good sized en suite shower room with premium toiletries. Breakfast - great selection including, fruit juice, coffee/tea, hot food, cold food, cereals, pastries etc. Everything you would want.

United KingdomThere wasn't a lift but fortunately we are mobile and our room was on the first floor. Anyone with mobility issues may have struggled. There is a key safe for collection of room key at the entrance. There were no staff on site when we arrived and we had to phone up for the code - if the code for the safe was included in the booking confirmation email it would have been nice.
The hotel was located about 1.5 kilometers from the centre of town. It was in a nice position adjacent to the sea front. There were easy and frequent options of bus, horse drawn tram or taxi for transport. The promenade to town was flat making a walk into town easy and pleasant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The double room was of adequate size. The facilities in the room were well thought out. A hair dryer and ironing board was provided. There was a kettle and selection of beverages and 2 bottles of water on arrival. The twin bed were a good size and comfortable with a selection of pillows. There was a good range of hot and cold options at breakfast and the quality of food was good. Service at breakfast was excellent.
