I was hoping to be able to let my elderly mother have the downstairs bedroom but as there were steps upto it I didn't feel it was safe for her to use that when needing the downstairs bathroom at night. It was safer for her to use the upstairs room that was opposite the toilet upstairs.

The setting was lovely. The owners were very friendly & welcoming.

The location was beautiful..Really nice and peaceful but close enough for visiting Barnstaple. Woolacombe. Bideford. Parking is a bonus and dog friendly. 🐕 Hosts were very nice, pleasant and helpful nothing was to much trouble.

Kitchen smoke alarm very sensitive. Upstairs toilet situated very close to wall.

No complaints, but do follow the directions given to you to avoid tricky small lanes. We arrived in a 9-seater Vauxhall Vivaro, and getting in and out of the property was a challenge, but doable.

Lovely house, plenty large enough for 4 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs. Adjacent small field to exercise dogs. Quiet location. We've been doing self-catering for many years and Clive is the most helpful and attentive host we've ever known. Recommended!

Loved how secluded it was, it had everything that we needed. View was gorgeous and was well equipped. This place made our little family holiday and has helped to create so many memories with my grandparents.

Roads are tight, with some farm roads to steer into. Its situated on a hill but other than the slight difficulty getting there, pleasant after that. No local shops near, so will need to travel 20 mins out for bread or milk.

The appartment was amazing. Spacious, ample sized rooms and great ammenities! Great view to have breakfast if weather permitting. Great accomadation, one bathroom ensuite and toilet! TV good size to watch in the living room.

Access to the driveway is on a steep hill with a tight turn. We were riding motorcycles so negotiating it was tricky. Car drivers should not find it too difficult though.

The cottage was great for us. It had everything we needed, with lots of space, very comfortable and clean. It is high up so there are beautiful views and it is lovely and quiet. Clive, the owner, was also very friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend!

Little storage furniture for clothes in bedrooms upstairs. Not a big issue as otherwise property was perfect.

We suggest a mirror in the second bathroom, a measuring jug and pirex dish with lid to be in the kitchen area. Possibly a mirror in the third bedroom too. These are just suggestions. there was nothing we did not like about the accommodation. Extra plug sockets in the kitchen/cooking area may be helpful too.

Loved the quietness. Loved the extent of the property, looking down from one end to another. Spacious. considerate host. couldn't do enough for us. Found a pirex dish so we could cook the meal we wanted to, with no hesitation, on request. Parking was easy. We wished we were staying longer.
