We booked a twin, had called before to make sure we had a twin but they still gave us a double bed. Rooms could do with a bit of TLC.

I've had better beds in hostels , very basic spec.

The staff are amazing, dealt with about ten different staff members, all were an absolute credit, breakfast was good for a UK hotel. Nottingham city is well worth a visit.

The breakfast is excellent and the chef is professional and kind.

I liked the night-shift staff who has been super friendly. I ordered a pizza first night, which you can get at the reception, the girls made it with care, just felt at home. The location is good and there's a nice pub adjoining the hotel.

It will be better if the cleaning of the room can be improved. I don’t mind paying a bit more if there is a microwave or mini fridge in the room.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is easy to get everything-restaurants, convenient shops, shopping centres, etc. The staff are friendly and efficient. Will definitely go and stay there again.

Small rooms. I had DND on, popped down to reception for something and when I came back the cleaners were doing my room. DND should be adhered to.

Amazing location. Nice room but compact. Luckily I was in the top floor at the back so I had a great view and it was quiet.

Did have an issue with the key card and when we came back from an evening in the town the key card didn’t work. Staff were able to fix it quickly, did have the cleaner open the door in the morning despite us not needing to check out.

I stayed Friday - Monday and no one came to clean my room during this time despite me putting signs on the door asking for it to be cleaned. I had to go to the reception twice to ask for more tea, coffee, milk and sugar.

Single beds were rather small.

Clean rooms. Large shower. Comfortable beds. Flavoured tap water in reception area. Great value breakfast with good quality produce. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

The temperature was a bit too low for my liking and the installed system didn't provide many options to adjust it. The installed system takes into account the external temperature and if the temperature is less than a certain threshold it works either for cooling or for heating. So the first night was a bit chilly.

The bed was really comfortable, as well as the location close to the city centre. I didn't have any issues with the WiFi, which is always appreciated. Although, I didn't eat at the hotel, it was nice to have a 24/7 option available.

In the morning the shower was stone cold, as was the same for the two couples we shared a lift downstairs with. For me, no big deal and bearable. For my wife, totally unacceptable, her morning regime begins with a bath or shower..... but never a cold one, she was livid. I did email to share my disappointment and got a very good, well worded reply, along with a partial refund, which I found most acceptable
