Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe noise outside and inside of the hotel made it difficult to sleep. In fact I heard every word of an argument that took place outside the hotel in the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately I forgot my earplugs so heard everything Mick said to the two women he was arguing with underneath the window, even with a spare pillow held over my head. Perhaps because the hotel is so close to town, it's more likely that you'll get a few drunken people outside. It's probably worth bringing ear plugs or requesting a room on a higher floor to avoid some of the noise. A safe in the room also would have been nice.
Excellent location, clean room, friendly staff, and good breakfast. The hotel is close to the centre and near the national express coach station. Location is very handy.

Handy for train Station, and parking at Queens Street car park, short walk.. Handy for all points of interest of Manchester. Very welcoming staff on arrival, very helpful.

United KingdomOnly one hard pillow . There are no instructions on lights or heating... but found them eventually. No hand towels. Towels were thin, a bit poor. An extra blanket would have been welcome as a bit cold at night, and I didn't want noisy heating on. The carpet was quite stained. l didn't like to walk barefoot. 2 tea bags were a bit mean. We arrived earlier than expected but was told it would be £10 for arrival early, but offered if l signed up for an lbis card, it would be waived. I thought that was a bit strange but signed up so we could get into the room. But l didn't get given an lbis card, so I assumed l just got the app.
