There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel and the noise starts pretty early, so no sleep in 😔

Easy to book, rooms are standard and perfectly adequate. The bed is comfortable and good shower. Location fine with Sauchiehall St just around the corner with lots of eateries. Very friendly helpful staff.

Corridors need a bit of a freshen up but not a big issue to the stay. Really struggled with phone signal and wifi but it may have been my provider or me not doing things correctly.

Hey, was a good stay, convenient, friendly and good value. staff were approachable, friendly and very helpful - asked for more t bags- not a problem, asked for taxi advice. always someone at the desk.

We went for a meal in the Novotel and, on our way back to our room we picked up some sugar and were looking for some milk pods as there were none in our room on our arrival. One of the workers stood and stared at us as if we were taking something we shouldn't. I explained why we were taking them and he said we should have gone to the Ibis reception. I understand this may have been correct but, having spent £60 on a meal, surely he didn't need to make us feel so uncomfortable.

Staff were pleasant and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. The idea of just pressing a button and a taxi arriving in minutes was superb. Unfortunately, the roadworks meant we could not be delivered right to the door but that was unavoidable.

Roadworks blocking entire street was an irritation. Hotel should warn intending guest that there is no car/taxi access closer than end of the block.

Not the fault of the hotel at all, but just a heads up in case anyone is booking in the near future as it’s a heads up we’d have appreciated.. unfortunately there’s a lot of construction works going on around the hotel (road works out the front and blocks of flats being built right next to the hotel) and it was a noisy wake up call at the back of 7am. Might not affect everyone, but would recommend taking ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, having a late night or want a long lie.

Would’ve been nice to get a warning about construction outside, but apart from that everything was great.

Very noisy reception area. Aye in the Novotel. Worst Thai curry I've ever tasted. Next time we'll find a restaurant round the corner.

The room was very clean and met our expectations. We were able to gain early entry into our room too which was such a help for us. Staff were helpful and breakfast the next morning was exceptional, great choice for vegan/vegetarian and lovely and fresh. Overall, exceptional value for money and would definitely recommend.

First room given was pretty smelly, staff were very helpful and accommodating in getting the room changed. Construction outside was nosiy in the morning - temporary and not the hotels fault.

Hallway was stinky. Shower wet the whole bathroom. Construction was unexpected and inconvenient.

The mattress toppers kept splitting and weren’t the same height so you were falling down and gap and there was a ledge in the bed. Even with air con on stun it was very hot

The location was terrible took us 2 hours of walking to find it no where near Sauchiehall street up a big hill time we found it wasted most of our day speaking to other guests and all stayed the same would not recommend it for the location
