There's only one thing that spoiled my stay and that was the mattress on the bed for some reason there was a hollow on my side of the mattress which unfortunately meant I didn't get a good night's sleep

Perfect location for our visit close to the part of the town we wanted to be there was a little road noise but not excessive considering the hotels location to the main roads we will definitely be using Ibis again

The curtains let in quite a lot of light around the edges. Too few coffee/drinks items. The water pressure for the shower was very low!

The room and bed were clean and functional.

Now phone charger at the bedside. Door security chain missing.

Location to town centre was good, road noise wasn’t too bad considering the main road right out side.

Facilities felt dated and cost felt high for the dated features.

The hotel could have used a bit of repair. The carpet in the hallway was stained and the were some missing tiles under the basin in the bathroom and a bit of mold in the grout under the shower stool.

The disabled facilities were good. The bed was not too high so I was able to get in it without a struggle. The bathroom was a wet room with a built in shower stool. Plenty of grab bars so I was able to get up and down without too much of a struggle.

There was some noise from the adjacent by-pass, but not enough to be troublesome.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I totally messed up my booking. The location was handy, near motorway access, and there was disabled parking near the doors. The 24 hour coffee machine was a real bonus.

The bar was totally lacking in atmosphere, and I would have preferred better lighting in the bedroom.

The location of the hotel was great for travelling, and the free parking a bonus. The hotel was very clean, and the staff helpful and friendly.

The first room smelled. It came from the showers drain. We had to ask for hand towels. After our first day when we got back we found 1. one of the towels was on the toilet. 2. The bin from the bedroom was not emptied and in the bathroom. 3. The used mugs where placed upside down back on the tray as if new/clean.

They changed our first room without a fuss as it smelled. A good service from the night porter. Staff where polite and friendly.

Didn’t have a net on the window and on ground floor so couldn’t have the curtains open without everyone looking in from the carpark

Breakfast was nice and take away cups provided for coffee. They made extra effort for my veggie breakfast and dairy free milk

Unfortunately a very noisy couple decided to have an argument for 2 hours at 2am and this was not picked up by the hotel security. The manager is informing the security company.

Excellent location for visiting Chesterfield Royal Hospital and close to the town centre. The manager Olivier was very respectful and considerate when I informed him of the noisy patrons.
