To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was near the airport, two stops with the tram. There was free and tasteful coffee all day. The receptionist was very helpful.

Great location for easy access to Edingburgh/ Airport with tram right across the road. Morrisons across the road served full English breakfast cheaper than continental offered in hotel.

Lots of continetal choice of pastries, but limited fruit of one choice, one choice coldmeat, two choice of yougrut and one choice of cheese. no fried food of choice. Wasn't worth the extra money, especially when you have a supermarket with a cafe across the road .
Loved location as tram was just across the road , shopping centre was also across the road with a morrisons.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff there were very friendly and the location, so close to the Gyle Centre and the tram was very handy.

United KingdomThe room was very small, but then it is a budget option. Didn’t really care for the bathroom facilities - toilet without a hand basin (which was in the actual bedroom) and a cubicle for the shower accessed directly from the room. So while it was OK for a couple, there wasn’t much privacy if, for example, you were sharing with a friend.
It was as cheap as I could get near the airport, and convenient for the tram stop. It wasn’t fancy but it did the job. The bunk bed built over the double was a nice touch, I can see a kid loving that.
