Poor housekeeping, broken , old fashioned furniture , no good shower facility

The hotel was dated and could do with a refurb at the earliest opportunity. I was aware of this, but due to the lateness of my booking, there was little choice for me within my budget. Other guests in the hotel were loud, which delayed me getting to sleep. The shower was okay, but I had little control over the water flow and temperature. The hotel served a function, but I have stayed in nicer places.

The location was okay for a last minute booking.

Needs a bit of investment. I think the painter had the shakes when decorating. Houses a lot of dss people which makes you feel uncomfortable and worry about belongings in room. Shame as it has the makings of a good hotel if the clientele was better.

Second time in the same room with a toilet that does not flush !!! Reported it first visit as it did not flush at all , now it has a 2 second flush .

Hotel felt run down and in need of investment and upgrading - looked very tired and worn.

Location not far from Warwick Uni, about 10 minutes by car.

It was not very clean, it smelled like tobacco and weed and at night you could hear noise from the restaurant below, especially Friday and Saturday.

The staff was nice and it was just 5 minutes away from the train station.

It needs a good refurb the curtains were disgusting carpets stained. But most of all I wasn't happy with all the foreign young men hanging about. We felt unsafe. Shame it used to be a beautiful hotel

The room was baked in a strong smell of smoke and cigarettes even though there's 'no smoking' signs around the whole building. Tried to clear it but ended up having headaches during my stay. Lights were broken and very dim. Shower was very weak and seem to only have hot or cold water. Doors didn't feel secure as wasn't sure if the locks were working correctly and felt loose. Expected a decent place for a night but was below expectations and will look elsewhere.

Location is 10 minute walk from station and retail park.

I was given room 031 on the first floor. It needs burning everything needed replacing and cleanliness was well below the usual acceptable standard the bath was okay for a shower but not clean enough to bath in. A bottle of bleach would of gone a long way but the carpet was filthy

I stay here fairly often the location is convenient and the staff are always faultless. I'm normally satisfied with the stay

Hallway decor on the stairs and landings was poor and dated with very worn red carpet throughout. Even though the room had recently been refurbished, it was evident the flooring hadn’t been changed in the bathroom as this was heavily stained, the bathroom door was damaged and wouldn’t close properly and despite there being tea, coffee and milk in the room there was no kettle.

Hotel was well placed for the city centre. The reception area gave a good first impression and based on previous reviews, it was evident we were in one of the recently refurbished rooms which was fairly pleasant.

No food available restaurant on site wouldn’t do takeaway which was strange as we saw someone come out with one 🧐. Three fellas in there and clearly didn’t want to work !
