Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Latviain the rules of the room, it was said that the door of the shower cabin should be closed well so as not to get the room wet, but the door itself did not work and it was good that we could hold the door for each other. What to do for those who remain alone?
location was great very nice city center with lot of shops and restaurants. Would I go back again? would definitely look at other places for a similar price.

BelgiumRoom space is not organized very effectively, the room is somewhat uncomfortable, despite not being too small. Strange smell in the bathroom, probably a bit mouldy (not visible).
Top location; the most comfortable bed and pillows I've had at a hotel for quite a while now; very friendly staff.

United KingdomVery firm mattress. Room could do with a fresh paint and update. Some cracks in bathroom but did not effect use of items. Not fault of hotel but would recommend upgrading to room with a window as basement rooms get very hot especially when 20°+ outside
Brill location, marjoity of tube lines could be accessed within 20 mins walk. Good value for money. Safe and easy to access car park for reasonal price. Fridge in room very usual and more than enough space for 2 people

United KingdomSlept in a basement, sink too close to the toilet, difficult to open windows as they were sliding windows so you couldnt leave them open for fresh air as someone could potentially enter the room.
Great location, very close to the park, safe, great place to explore central London

GermanyWhen you go to bed you need a stone to kill the lights in the room because there's no switch. No shelf or bedside table to put your phone on (which you need because you have to use the flashlight when you go to sleep). And they should give their plumber a stern look :-; The No 1 button from the loo didn't work so you always had to do a full flush. Hot and cold water pipes of the bathrom sink were installed the wrong way around, so you never get the temperature you expect.
The hotel is in good condition and there's a car park in the back (to be booked seperatly via yourparkingspace.co.uk). Hyde Park and Queensway Tube station are just a couple of metres away. There's a small kitchenette.

LithuaniaTV was jokingly old. Cable was showing some channels, but not all that were in the TV menu. Everything was quite cramped - corridors narrow, room - quite small. Bathroom was decent size, but the shower itself was also small.
The area is quite nice, green and quiet for London. Two subway stations are nearby, as well as pubs, shops, and anything else you might need. The room had a fridge, stove, sink, and some dishes. Additionally - there was an instruction for food delivery.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom was very small, very little room to move around due to lack of space. Dark, instead of light curtains, would have been advisable to use in the room to enable one to block out the early morning light if one is a light sleeper.
The check-in and check-out processes were quick and the receptionist was very friendly and professional. The room itself met my expectations and was very clean. The location was less than 10 minutes away on foot from Bayswater and Queensway Underground stations and is also situated close to a wide variety of cafés, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and Kensington gardens.

FranceOne thing that could improve tremendously the confort of the room at stayed in is to have opaque curtains. For some people, it is hard to sleep with the outdoor artificial spot light or the morning light. Alternative option could be to provide night mask for eyes
The location is great and the service and overall standard provided is aligned with the budget range for the location. This is the second time I stayed in this hotel.

RomaniaWe asked for a non-basement room, since we booked well in advance, didn't receive one. The noise cancellation is poor- you definitely need earplugs if you want to sleep. The bathroom was very small, you can't sit on the toilet properly, and the shower is definitely not for extra large people.
The bed was comfortable. There was a fridge, hairdryer, basic utilities. The room was cleaned while we were out. We weren't looking for anything fancy, so it was fine for us. The staff was friendly. Location was good.
