The bed was incredibly hard, like sleeping on a floor, no give in it at all. I did ask to have the mattress changed but they couldn't, so another thin bed topper was added, which didn't help. The shower leaked also and although we told the staff the first day we were there, it leaked all through the week. Plus shower head fixed, so awkward for my wife who didn't necessarily want to wash her hair at the same time that she was showering.

Location close to restaurants and shops. Portobello market within comfortable walking distance. Tube stations and bus links good also. Staff helpful and friendly.

Bed was a little firm and could be improved with a simple topper. Also would be great to have a plug for the sink (to do washing up) and a wooden spatula for cooking on the stove top. But this is being picky.

Staff are amazing - really kind and caring. Love the tall ceilings and the fact that I can open a window for fresh air. Location is excellent and yet it is remarkably quiet for central London.

Location was great, loads of restaurants very close, grocery stores little cafés.. Really nice and neat neighborhood. Walk distance about 3 min to Hyde park, 5-7 min walk to metro. If I come to London again i will definitely stay here.

I picked it because it had a car park (rare for central London) - not cheap to park but pretty much inline with what you'd expect to spend in the area. The hotel and room were fine - inline with expectations.

Suited our needs and was good value

I expected a better/more comfortable bed. The bed was sub-par and very solid.

The room is tired and need of a renovation. We expected the bathroom to be small in central London but this bathroom was ridiculously small and tight. The central heating was not working properly and the room was freezing with a thin small quilt. My daughter wore her coat to sleep in.

The location is fantastic and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Duvet for the bed was a bit small (maybe a smaller size than the bed itself? So not great for two people), but then again it was quite hot in the room so not a problem. It would have been lovely if coffee and tea in the room was replaced in the morning.

Great location, clean and confortable room. Not very big, but an ok size. The kitchen at the room was tiny but we were not cooking so not important for us in particular. Bathroom was a bit more old, still adequate. Cleaning service every day.

The toilets are REALLY REALLY small. We kept hitting our elbows and head in the shower area. We had a total of 3 rooms booked with this hotel. We literally have to jump over our luggage as there are no more space left to walk.

The hotel is in a shabby shape with little maintenance done. However, the location of the hotel is great as there are 2 tube stations that are within walking distance from the hotel. Good selection of food for dining and supermarkets within the hotel walking distance. This is one of the hotel with a more affordable rate in the area if you don't mind the subpar maintenance in the hotel room condition. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful though.
