To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomNot happy about the Parking charge, I thought £27 onsite was unreasonable! and the parking alternative to book online which is apparently slightly discounted we didn’t have time to sort & the reception staff could not advise of the cost of this When I stayed at the holiday inn in birmingham the other month offsite parking around the corner in the B4 carpark was so easy & discounted - I paid half the price, I would consider staying there again just for ease of parking

There was no dressing gown for my husband and we had to wait a long time before someone brought it up to us. £5 tray charge for anything that was brought up by room Service (we asked for some glasses for our bottle of wine at reception and were told to ring from Our room) . Pool width not Particularly wide to allow a number of people in at once especially if there are people doing lengths. I was added to a mailing list / rewards thing without permission - they asked for my email address did it and the. Told me I’m now on their rewards scheme.
Good size room Nice to have access to the onsite spa Staff generally helpful.

United KingdomTea/coffee in room is standard/basic you get in all hotels. Leisure facilities standard and small compared to others I have used - steam room not very hot; pool cold - doesn’t bother me (I’m an outdoor swimmer!) but that was probably why at a busy time I was the only one swimming which might disappoint some guests. Towels smelt of roast or fried food . Breakfast - i love to have breakfast at hotels so will pay but price is steep compared to similar hotels. The cold buffet has a very good range and some things are higher standard - let down by average quality hot selection. I got a slight sense of being looked down on when I arrived with my young son - I earn £120.000 pa - don’t judge a book by its cover
Very clean. Very big and super comfortable bed with high grade of cotton sheets. Very good quality toiletries in bathroom. Great location. Lobby and dining area clean and good layout. Very pleasant and polite staff at breakfast with attentive service. Nice pleasant barman (Italian) in the evening
