Tea/coffee in room is standard/basic you get in all hotels. Leisure facilities standard and small compared to others I have used - steam room not very hot; pool cold - doesn’t bother me (I’m an outdoor swimmer!) but that was probably why at a busy time I was the only one swimming which might disappoint some guests. Towels smelt of roast or fried food . Breakfast - i love to have breakfast at hotels so will pay but price is steep compared to similar hotels. The cold buffet has a very good range and some things are higher standard - let down by average quality hot selection. I got a slight sense of being looked down on when I arrived with my young son - I earn £120.000 pa - don’t judge a book by its cover

Very clean. Very big and super comfortable bed with high grade of cotton sheets. Very good quality toiletries in bathroom. Great location. Lobby and dining area clean and good layout. Very pleasant and polite staff at breakfast with attentive service. Nice pleasant barman (Italian) in the evening

Service was a little slow and our room key declined a few times before check out time.

Location was superb! Close by to restaurants and bars and city centre. Spa facilities were great too. Will be back again.

Spa area wasn’t luxurious - they didn’t have private cubicle for changing in swim area and no slipper things or flip flops in spa as you would in other spa areas in hotel Was a bit soulless in that bit. Room service trays left outside the rooms for 48 hours not great for hygiene Staff lovely particularly the concierge who was super efficient and friendly

It was a shame the air conditioning didn't work properly as otherwise the room was great. Temperature was 23 Deg which made sleeping difficult .Didn't report till the morning as came in late from concert.

Very expensive breakfast. Noisy A/C ventilation system in room and when inspected have not been cleaned in a long long time. Switched it off and this made the room hot and less pleasant to sleep. Would expect better especially since covid pandemic and the awareness it supposedly brought.

The cost of the drinks in the hotel. We often stay in hotels but found this to be one of the most expensive at £7 for a bottle of Corona and £15 for a large Pino. We had our children and expected to drink after the show in the hotel bar, but ended up going upstairs for an early bed instead. We are not cheap skates but thought it was overcharging and we don't like that.

The wow factor of the hotel when you walk in. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The location is amazing for the Utilita Arena.

You do not get your deposit back despite being told that you will. £40 is added onto your total when checking in, you are informed that this will be reimbursed when checking out however, this is not the case. I was made aware over the phone that it is to the hotels discretion wether your deposit gets refunded or not, this is outrageous as if they require £40 more why not just add it onto the total on the website? You pay lots of money for the room to then have to pay more, many may not be able to part with £40… Disgusting

The pedal on the bin in the bathroom was broken. Should have been replaced. The door frame in the bathroom was faulty on both sides meeting the floor. This was disappointing. Was not expecting 2 problems in the bathroom in a hotel of this standard. I've stayed in a lot of Travelodges and Premier Inns and not had to complain about them at all.

The room was quite big. We had twin beds which were a good size. Breakfast was really good. Staff were helpful and polite.

Excellent breakfast selection. Ordered porridge for breakfast which was delicious, brought to table by waitress, but then I had to leave table to fetch my own spoon! Also no cutlery on table but found my own and asked for white cotton napkin but told by waitress ‘there aren’t any’ so had to manage with very small tissue paper that cutlery was wrapped in, not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard and price.

Room on higher floor good although would have preferred walk in shower.
