We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

WOW! Just WOW! This is the most unexpected B&B in the most surprising location and you arrive at your destination and you think you've gone wrong somewhere! It's up a hill (so, aptly named!) on a residential road and my husband's first reaction was 'WHAT have you booked?' We were greeted by Mark who helped us with our luggage and made sure I was okay (I have mobility issues). He opened the door to a hallway and announced that this was all part of our accommodation! Beautifully decorated and VERY clean. Up a spiral staircase (which I managed easily) and onto a landing, with comfy chairs, tea & bistro type coffee making facilities, small fridge, wine glasses and a small table which Mark told us he would serve our breakfast at the next morning. Into the bedroom with a king size bed, en suite shower, tv, all the facilities you could wish for. All the areas were decorated to the same high standard, soothing, quiet and clean. The artwork on the walls was wonderful and showcased some highly talented local artists. Mark kindly took Derek to the local Chinese takeaway, New Treasure Garden, and we had the best takeaway we have had in a long, long time at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended! Mark gave us cutlery and plates and left us to it and then cleared away after us! Breakfast the next morning was superb, very filling, very hot, lashings of toast brought upstairs by the lovely Nicky. We were blown away by the place. An unexpected jewel at the heart of Richmond! Dare you to go and disagree with me!!!

United KingdomThere is quite a steep (albeit short) hill on the way up to the property.
The location was perfect - just a short walk to the centre of Richmond. The hosts were brilliant and made us feel very welcome and at home. The facilities were first class too. The room and additional space available ( separate sitting area) was great. The hosts went the extra mile and put up balloons, and banners - also left cake and drinks for my husband’s birthday. He even got a candle in his breakfast. Great views and sitting area outside if required.

Mark, the owner, went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The accommodation is first class.
