Only gripe room was a bit dark could do with a bit brighter

On arrival we were greeted with a glass off prosecco and sat in lounge while getting checked in. Quick check in and taken to room which is a wow factor, booked roof bar for meal which was lovely and plenty full. Breakfast was the full monty and very good, drinks were a reasonable price as well overall wonderfull weekend and we will return.

Great hotel! Staff were so helpful and accommodating Enjoyed the prosecco handed out while waiting for check in time The WhatsApp service to order room service was great too. Room was small but we knew it was going to be but had everything we needed. Bed was comfy, had Netflix.

The entire experience from the moment of booking has been great, the staff are proactive from the get go, messaging asking if they can help with anything, the hotel itself is amazing! The decor, the atmosphere! It was amazing! The cocktails were fantastic and so was the food! We had the treat me like I’m famous package and I would recommend it to anyone! We are already planning another trip up just to stay at the hotel again, the staff are all super friendly and couldn’t have done more for us, they are a huge credit to the company! Thank you for a great stay!

I chose the cabin thinking it was the name of the room however, it was not what I thought I had booked Brass bath etc. Pictures showing the rooms were confusing! The cabin was too small.

Amazing and unique! We felt like we had been transported onto the game of thrones! Seer indulgence, smells and decor were lovely and the ladies toilets were incredible!

After heat built up in the room with the black and gold decor and shutters it felt quite warm and enclosed

I do feel the drinks were a little expensive but they were amazing. The kitchen was closed for dinner as there was a problem.

The 4 of us loved our stay here but it was made extra special by Callum in the cocktail bar. He was the cheeriest, loveliest and knowledgeable waiter we have ever met. He kept the drinks coming and we all enjoyed his chat. Xxxx

I paid for a £99 extra package which included a £40 bar tab the bar tab was charged to my room and then taken off my account On day of checkout then was told it would take 5-7 working days for a refund when I told them I had already paid this

Literally, the ONLY thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a kettle!!!

The staff were really friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, carrying my case, showing me to my room and giving me a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival.

There was nothing I didn’t like about my stay, however I will say that the small foyer where you wait for the lift is very very dark during the day, as well as the stairwells - the lights do come on at night but I did feel it was hard for my eyes to adjust.

Wonderfully situated in the heart of the merchant city, you’re no more than a 20 second walk from the nearest restaurant or cocktail bar! The hotel from the outside is very clean and well presented, with decadent tiger print-like curtains decorating the windows - inciting a sense of what the style of the hotel will be. Upon entering the hotel, you are very quickly greeted by the fantastic staff who are extremely attentive - offering complimentary Prosecco almost as soon as you enter the door. Once we made it into the room, I was immediately impressed by the decoration of our room (the cabin). The wooden panel walls, gorgeous flower bouquet and balloons on the bed as well as gold flower petals made me feel very warm and welcome in my home for the night.

would have preferred to chose how bright lighting was - was a bit dull for me (just a personal opinion) to be fair rooms are cabins based on orient express

surroundings opulent, staff very friendly - treat me like im famous package was incredible value for money the bed was extra comfortable and i had the best sleep ive had in ages!! cookies that were brought to the room were amazing. staff did their best to make my sisters stay memorable as was her 40th birthday treat.
