While it’s obvious they are refurbishing and improving, when walking in to reception there was a strong smell of damp and there was a stained mattress propping a door open. The bed was also really uncomfortable, an extra pillow each and not having a gap between the bed/wall would have made a massive difference.

The room was newly refurbished and clean. It’s in a great location for the tube into central London.

It was dirty, a small familyroom in the basement for 4 persons. We couldn’t walk around the beds. Hard beds. We couldn’t stored the luggage after check out just for a couple of hours. The room upstairs for one person was fine but very hot. The AC and the TV didn’t work. We asked the stuff for help but didn’t get any assistance.

I was not expecting to find the hotel surrounded by scaffolding, nor did I expect to walk past builders working as we approached the room. The reception area was covered in dust, which did not give high hope. The stairs leading to rooms had a slant and did not feel secure to use. I booked a twin room with 2 single beds, and room had 1 double bed, but not a major issue. When a spare pillow was requested we were told they did not have any.

You get what you pay for! It's cheap and cheerful, in a good central location. Hotel is mid renovations, so not everything is fully working yet, but the new rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are good.

1)the hotel’s entrance was left open day and night, which wasn’t very secure. 2)our door didn’t even have the target with its number on anymore 3)nobody changed our towels or cleaned our room during our 3 days stay 4)there was no blow dryer in our room 5)the room itself wasn’t bad, but the hotel was left in pitiful conditions. 6)the majority of the hotel staff didn’t even say good morning 7)it was noisy and loud, the hotel’s walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbor cough or make video calls 8)the stairs were a deathly trap

the key code failed to open the door on arrival and on the second day. i had an early night on the first night but was woken up by the fire alarm at 11pm which took ages to switch off. The room was quite warm and the air con wasnt working. On the last morning the shower was barely warm

i knew the hotel was going through redecoration howver there were quite a few irritating things. The location and price were excellent The staff were friendly

The room was not clean when we arrived. The bed sheet and comforter were itchy so I asked for new sheets and pillow cases on our first night. And in our last day, I removed all the sheets just to make sure that they would changed it for the next user. Then I saw that the mattress and pillows were so dirty and it was so disgusting as the user. The mattress had no cover.

The carpet was very old and coming undone in areas that there were pieces of material loose in lots of areas No coverings / plug on the floor, shower Wifi was very slow For the size of the room and price per night.. a bed side lamp would be nice

i had to ask for towels and these weren’t the best quality. there was no hair dryer in the room. Room was very warm and the air conditioning wasnt working due to renovations

when i first walked into the hotel it appeared dinghy and dirty in the reception area however they are clearly in the process of renovating. My room had been renovated and it was clean light and airy. bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. hot drink facilities. Very close to the tube. staff were helpful and welcoming
