You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location - the staff were great, friendly, polite, attentive, nothing was too much trouble and very calming- ‘no rush and push’. Breakfast was great - room was very comfortable and reflected the ambiance of the town - great bar food and lovely wine. Will definitely stay here again as so much more to see around and about.

United KingdomThe breakfast was very average. Scrambled egg looked & tasted like it came out of a packet. There was no effort in the presentation of the hot food. Our shower had no pressure and the water merely dribbled out. We found the hotel's intermittent air fragrance quite overwhelming in places. Better if you are near the main entrance.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well equipped and the Beds were comfortable. We liked the snug area. Garden was very pleasant.

United Kingdom£12.50 per day to park seems an unnecessary surcharge. The bath had very high sides which made it difficult for me to get into for a shower (not disabled but arthritic knees).

United KingdomSmall things but there was no toilet brush in our bathroom, the bathroom door squeaked quite loudly and some of the tiles in the bathroom were loose. Also the room shape was awkward to move around in and if we had a suitcase, we wouldn't have anywhere decent to put it.
I really enjoyed the overall hotel space. Definitely work taking time to appreciate the building itself. Lots of nice social rooms downstairs and a lovely garden space to enjoy a coffee in the morning. The reception and bar staff were all really friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and excellent shower.

Disabled room was perfect. Location of hotel was right in the centre of Stratford and close to all major attractions. The front of the hotel was of Shakespearen times yet the back where we parked was modern, lovely seeing the two eras being joined together perfectly.
