Slightly wobbly toilet as the seal between the base and wall was broken only minor issues but did not detract from our stay.

Great staff, very attentive and helpful. Social Hour was a really nice touch and we enjoyed it. Room was spacious, clean and inviting. We loved the personal note left for us and the prosecco!! Great breakfast and delicious cocktails in the bars were divine!

My visit was over too quickly.

The hotel was beautiful - both the building and the interior decoration. Stepping into the foyer it felt immediately welcoming, and the staff there - and throughout the hotel - were wonderful: really friendly and helpful. I loved the special touches, such as items you could request or borrow, and the snacks in the room. The room was lovely, and the gym was awesome - wish I could have stayed there for hours! Loved the restaurant: I had lunch and breakfast there and would absolutely love to return: I asked the kitchen for the bircher museli recipe because it was the most delicious I've had.

The heating wasn't working in my room, but it wasn't a big deal as it was warm enough.

Loved the vibe at this hotel, it's very stylish and very clean. The room had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Appreciated the free upgrade 😃 and had a wonderful couple of nights here for my friends' wedding in Manchester. Very good location.

    No negative feedback whatsoever!

This hotel is just beautiful. Stunning art deco details and the room was furnished so well. Lovely and spacious, big mirror and TV and lovely little fridge. Everything I would expect, in London this hotel would easily be 3 times the price. Location great, easy to reach tram and train stations and the staff were very friendly. I would love to stay again!

    Nothing.

The building is magnificent. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. The buffet breakfast offered a wide choice, we chose the traditional English cooked breakfast. The quality of the food and cooking was very good. In the evening we only ate in the Conservatory (bar area) from the bar menu, but this again was good. The staff were all attentive, helpful and very friendly.

Stepping into the high bath was a challenge...

The building is incredible and has been renovated as a celebration of its history and quirks. The staff were exceptional; friendly, relaxed, and efficient. The food proved to be a hit with everyone in our eclectic group... Sunday lunch was worth the trip on its own!

Only criticism is that when using the shower with the screen in place, the bathroom floor flooded. You couldn’t reposition the head if the shower so we ended up with a soaking wet floor right up to the bathroom door and around the toilet.

Lovely bar area, music and entertainment on, location, comfy room

Sticky door handle on WC door, reported to reception. My wife could not open the door from the inside.

Quirky Hotel in ex Refuge Assurance building. Beautifully and cleverly redesigned. Room was large and water, tea and coffee and biscuits and crisps in room.

Lovely setting. Unique vibe. Nice staff. Comfortable and would use again. Negatives: Music in the lounge is far too loud and reggae on a Sunday morning no. Generally out of keeping with a high class hotel and needs rethinking. WiFi in rooms in 3rd floor rooms is very poor.

Fabulous hotel, the original features are stunning. The room was big and those very high ceilings made it feel even bigger. By far the comfiest bed and pillows I’ve ever come across in a hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the choice was vast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. little free gifts at breakfast and checkout plus a free drink at the bar during happy hour were nice touches. The best thing though was no noise, I didn’t get woken up once by doors banging or the lift going up and down all night! I will definitely return when next in Manchester. I’ve stayed in more expensive places that were not a patch on the Clocktower.
