The room storage was poor. Baskets under the beds were difficult to get to in some situations almost impossible. Not everyone had a locker. A stool in the room (I was in a 6 bed) would have been handy along with hooks on the walls for hanging coats, towels etc. The bunks moved alot and were noisy.

The shower and toilet stalls were next to each other so the water from the showers would flow into the toilet and made the floor wet and inconvenient to navigate. The stairs are pretty narrow and there is no elevator so keep that in mind when bringing in a big luggage. In my room, my bed was positioned in a way that there wasn't enough space for me to open the storage trunk properly to keep my things so I had to mostly keep it outside.

I really appreciated the location - it was right across the bus stop where the National Express dropped me off (from Stanstead airport) which was great since I arrived late at night. The nearest tube station was 2 min walk away so well connected to the rest of the city. Brick Lane and Shoreditch are an easy walk away. Many supermarkets and coffee shops within walking distance as well. The kitchen was very well equipped which was helpful. The fridge also had a shelf for free food which I was grateful for. The reception staff is warm, friendly, and super helpful. The desk is open 24x7 so also never a problem to check-in late.

The night time receptionist guy was pretty unnecessarily blunt and not particularly helpful, instead of giving wrong info he should just say that ask the daytime staff if needed. If you are noise sensitive (I am not), note that the location of the hostel is along a main road, next to a pub and the tube, you will hear noise from them, but then again that is London. Common area is fairly small, but its an old building, and nothing major.

Good location next to Bethnal green, direct bus from Stansted available throughout the night. Friendly daytime staff. Overall a very good stay in a hostel. I recommend the six bed room for space. Ask for a bottom bunk if you are mobility impaired. Good privacy with a curtain. Comfortable bed, would go back if needed.

The accommodations was good, the hosting was great, showers were hot, but it's fine. I enjoyed the proximity of buses and metro and some interesting places to visit such as Victoria Park.

The location is off the beaten tourists' paths, but still central and very well connected. The atmosphere is very relaxed and very friendly; I met and talked to women of all age groups. I especially liked the wine and drawing event that happens weekly.

the accommodation is well located, not too far from the park areas, so you can always go for a nice morning run and not too far from the center. Even bike stations are to be found close by. They have a piano and daily dinners/ activities =)

I was surprised by the size of the room which was to me quite small and not enough space to move around especially if you want to pull out the storage box which is under the bed. The bathroom doesn't have a fan or some sort of ventilation so it was often very humid and hot and left quite untidy. The fridge in the kitchen should have more shelves, because it looks a mess with lots of food just pushed in it.

I liked the position of the hostel and the proximity to public transport and other useful facilities like shops, pharmacy, park,.. Although the position of the hostel is right on the street, I didn't find too noisy during the night and I'm a light sleeper.

The common area was not that big so not a lot of people could hang out. On my floor there were just 2 toilets for all the rooms so I had to cue at night, but it wasn’t a big problem as you could check the other ones on other floors.

Felt safe and comfortable, the kitchen was always clean as well as for the common areas. The stuff was super friendly and gave me a lot of advice for my vacation.

Too crowded and noisy in the common area, but also in the corridors at night. I would have liked to have a quiet place to rest. Almost no room to store food in the fridge unfortunately. Ambiance perfume was regularly sprayed by the cleaning team in common areas, and in particular the kitchen, but also (not purposely I think) on plates & cutlery on the drainer, which, I think, isn't very good for health.

The staff was lovely, very welcoming! Plenty of products available in the showers (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) The other people I was sharing the room with were very quiet, which is great for a hostel! Very close to tube station (1 station away from liverpool station) Overall I was impressed by this hostel and its quality (finding a good and affordable accommodation in London is not easy!)

The 4-bed room was quite small. When one person got up, it was difficult for others to move around, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite this, the common area was comfortable with sofas, chairs, tables, and plenty of power outlets. On top of that, there was some dirt on the blanket, so I only used the bedsheet. It was warm though.

The proximity to the Tube station was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. The hostel is well-equipped with amenities, including a leisure area and a well-stocked kitchen.

There were only two toilets for the whole floor which was a bit difficult at times, and the room was quite small making it hard to navigate when multiple people are trying to get things out of lockers.

The staff were very nice, going as far as bringing me a new locker when mine was broken! The bed was comfy, and I love when hostels have curtains for privacy.

I stayed at this hostel for 5 nights. A very nice experience. The beds were comfortable and cozy, the place was pretty and the stuff were really kind and helpful. There was hot water every time I wanted to shower. The movie night was awesome! Also, Bethnal green is a very interesting neighborhood and the hostel is near the tube station which makes it accessible. I also liked the fact that it's a women only hostel. Feels like a safe place. A very good value for money. I would stay again.

In a somewhat sketchy part of town with a loud bar next door but I reckon the hostel is older than the bar, or the condition of the neighborhood, so it can’t be helped.
