Not very organised at breakfast, we paid £30 extra to upgrade to breakfast for 2, we queued for ages people were just walking in and having breakfast who hadn’t paid, no one was on the desk to take our breakfast tickets in the end we found ourselves a table. Food was nice though.

Soooo many corridors - I did actually get lost … signage for the rooms is a little confusing and it took a while to find my room - and get back to the main areas. Having never been here before I drove into the car park, parking just past the ‘soon to be electric bays ‘ facing the buildings and could not see where to find reception .. if you’ve been before it’s fine but as a first timer I had to ask - would have thought with the grand pictures as advertised you would walk through the main entrance

The walls between rooms had virtually no soundproofing at all and on two occasions the noises coming from the next door room kept me awake. Also the noise from the passageways could be heard really quite loudly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when a problem occurred. My room was noisy as there was a wedding open day - when I complained I was moved and upgraded without argument. Staff 10 out of 10 and very impressive.

The room was very clean and the hotel is set in a beautiful location. We used the restaurant one evening and the food was lovely couldn't fault it. restaurant staff an hotel receptionists very professional and friendly. There was one thing but it didn't spoil the stay but on the Saturday evening you had a wedding on and the music could be heard in our room which was a little annoying as it went on til midnight. A suggestion would be to put the wedding guests at that end of the hotel, as they wouldn't be in the rooms. However apart from that we had a lovely stay and we will be back

i was sent a message of cancellation on the day of booking and whilst on the way to hotel. I rang them, and they provided my accomodation. It was a like a maze to go to our room right at the end of the hotel, people got lost. and restaurant garden lights was off and staff dont know how to switch it on, leaving guests in pitch black garden. weekend looks mainly wedding bookings at hotel, too busy and people tend to be noisy drunk in the hallways late night. Restaurant waiter forgot to put our order in, and we waited for an hour whilst nearly closing time & 4 guests who arrived after us were almost finished eating.

Hotel and spa is new, well looked after, rooms were clean, grounds well looked after, friendly staff, free parking, food was good, breakfast lovely,24hr reception, quiet part of town.

The spa had quite a few drunk women in causing quite a lot of havoc which caused us to leave as nobody was available to talk to. The bath wasn’t very clean and the water was lukewarm so couldn’t really relax in it.

The property is stunning! Breakfast was amazing and had us set for the day😍 reception are very helpful and lovely. Also the waiter in the restaurant ( he said he was Egyptian haha) was very kind and helpful. We went for a nice evening walk around the secret garden it was so peaceful and just unreal!

Very grand building, rooms felt a little less grand. Room pillows a little lumpy and hairdryer wasn’t working.

We had a table booked for 9 oclock for dinner but wasnt ready till half 9 which by then was too late so we did not have dinner in the end .

Set in the countryside, peaceful!! Rooms were comfortable. Use of pool also good.
