I couldn't use the coffee machine in our room. I even looked it up on you tube. Not sure if it's working. Bit gutted needed that coffee. The lady I was supporting would have liked more breakfast teas on the tray she didn't like the other healthy tea bags available. The shower floor was a little slippery next time I would bring a shower mat for my client. She almost fell.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were excellent with my service user who asked for mashed potato for breakfast. Thanks again Coco and all the staff who made our stay so lovely. We want to return again for another visit soon.

Food options were limited in the bar/ restaurant. Selection was slim for lunch and dinner - many options not available or sold out. Would like to see more for guests staying.

The staff at Hort's are fabulous, they go out of the way to make you comfortable and welcome. Special thanks to Chris, the evening manager, who was not only excellent but fun. Beautiful decor and comfortable beds. Felt at home.

Everything was amazing - from a slightly early check in, to the beautiful room. The room was incredibly well thought through and felt more like a high end bedroom than a hotel room. Although we didn't use it, we loved the options the alternative mini bar offered. We ordered room service via the app one morning and the breakfast was amazing. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend for anyone visiting Bristol.

There was nothing we found distasteful, and were happlily suprised of the lack of noise outside at night.

I booked a visit to Hort's Townhouse whilst staying in Bristol for two days with my husband, due to the convient location and clean, nicely docorated rooms and facillites. We were told where our room is, and opened the door to our room which was very nicely decorated, and they had prepared some coffee pods, hot chocolate, fresh milk and truffles for us, which were very nice :) The room is accustomd with an AC unit, which was fantatic as it was a very hot weekend, a minibar stacked with lots of tasty snacks, and a selection of drinks for everyone. (I feel like maybe the addition of sweets would be cool too) the TV's are equipped with the Townhouse's own software which was great, as there was the option to watch stuff on youtube if there's nothing on TV. and there was four towels in the bathroom. The beds were very comfy and had a generous amount of pillows which I much appreciated :) the next morning we went to the bar downstairs for breakfast and had egg and soldiers and a full english which we both agreed were delicious! The staff were vere very friendly and helpful too. and the only letdown was not booking another night, we definitely will stay for longer in the future, highly reccomend :)

There are roadworks outside just now (May/June 2024). Occasionally the bar was packed with wedding guests from the nearby registry office.

The art deco designs everywhere were fabulous, creating a great atmosphere. The location was so handy for sightseeing. The bedrooms were so comfy and clean. The staff were really helpful.

Our room, on the top floor, was very compact and no window although there was a skylight. We liked the cosy decor but wouldn't want to be in there for more than a night. No parking.

Great location for us in the heart of Bristol. Loved the decor, felt cosy. The food was fab. Cooked breakfast was great and served at the table by friendly staff. We loved the seafood shared platter on our first evening. Lovely touches in the bedroom such as the coffee machine with fresh milk in the fridge, & a little jar of port. Well stocked honesty bar

One very small issue was the lift was very slow but there may have been an issue with it when we were there?

Loved the decor it was so clean, the bar and food downstairs was fabulous, I cannot fault the room at all! I stayed with a very fussy friend (hygiene etc) and even she was superbly impressed!

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It is perfectly located, making it easy to walk everywhere. The lobby, bar, restaurant, and rooms all have beautiful decor, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and of high quality, with options from both the menu and the buffet, so there's something for everyone. The room was beautiful, spacious, and equipped with everything you might need (coffee, tea, mini bar, fresh milk), including a large bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel and will be very happy to stay there again in the future.
