We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe place was understaffed, our room should have been advertised as a single room. No lifts, narrow staircases handrails only on one side. We needed assistance to carry cases upstairs and staff were doing this in adverse conditions. Not sure the hotel would meet O H and Safety regulations under these current conditions.
Jacky was very accommodating, and we enjoyed some banter between us. The staff we met were friendly and very hard working.

United KingdomA spider in my room that disappeared behind the headboard! Can't be helped in an old building I guess. The bathrooms light was on a timer sensor that linked to the air fan, distracting when getting my son to sleep.
Food was on the expensive side, but so so good. Probably the best cottage pie I've ever eaten. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodated my 6yr old well. Easy check in and check out process.

Staff absolutely superb. Unfailingly friendly and helpful, no weak links in the chain at all. Food generally excellent and decent value. Room clean, quiet and well-appointed. Excellent location: easy to access and plenty of parking, attractive building with history and wow factor. Though we hadn't booked it, HH was able to switch us to a room with special facilities to accommodate my elderly father.

The staff were definitely the highlight of this hotel. Really helpful and friendly. Food was good. Comfy bed though and really great that there was a fan in the room. All In all good value for money but the rooms could do with a freshen up.

I had a great stay at at the Hopping Hare, very comfortable bedrooms and super helpful staff. I loved that it had free parking and was a little out of the centre, so it had more green space around the facilities. Located in a quiet residential area.
