Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI have been to the spa for the thermal journey several times. Jacuzzi jets not working this time. Whilst this time was nice there were groups of girls visiting speaking very loud on phones. Phones ringing and on loud speaker is an absolute no for me when trying to relax. We left earlier than planned as a result. Is it really necessary for people to have their phones with them. Could you not adopt a no phone policy? For the sake of two hours.

United KingdomOn the Saturday evening of our stay the relaxing atmosphere in the bar was shattered by the screams of a very young baby...and this was after 9.00 pm This continued for long enough to send us early to our room. I dont know if you have any policy regarding this situation but we have not experienced such a young child in any hotel bar we have stayed in at such a late hour. I appreciate this is not the hotels fault, and speaks more of the families lack of awareness but they could have been politely asked to leave if you had some policy regarding the time limit of babies in the bar.

The staff were lovely. The room was a brilliant size, plenty of room to move around in. The spa was amazing.

United KingdomPillows a bit uncomfortable, perhaps I should have asked to change them? Could not get to use Spa or pool facilities due to the fact I had not pre booked and there was no availability. Not sure how to get around this if I visit again as I tend not to book too far in advance. This was a big disappointment.
Location was good, bar and restaurant at the hotel were good. Service from the staff was excellent, especially Katie on reception.
