Only thing that let it down was we paid an extra £35 for extras as it was for my birthday and for what we got I don’t think it was worth it. I never received the chocolates that was include in the package, the ‘breakfast hamper’ was 2 pots of porridge and a pack of bread rolls. And the ballon strings were 8 balloons tied together. It would have cost no more then £15 all together. So I wouldn’t recommend adding this on but everything else was great.

absolutely nothing

The stay was perfect. We stayed half was on the lakes-Dales cycle loop and need a comfy pad. It has a cute courtyard, with hot tub and a very relaxing modern living area. Helen kept in touch before and after our stay x

The studio was perfect for a night away and the hot tub was ideal to kick back and relax, Helen was so helpful and the location is so close to all local amenities. We will definitely be visiting again.

Pictures don’t do justice, it is a outstanding studio apartment. located in a great place walk down a little back lane and into the town centre which surprisingly is very quiet. Even had sky glass in the room and Netflix, so was great to chill out. Room had a Wi-Fi boosting box in so had always had full connection to internet as the town is bad for signal no matter where you go. jucuzzi was great to jump into after a day of hiking/walking. Owner was a very pleasant women who was always on hand to help out. Next time will be booking direct with the owner.

The facilities where amazing and beyond expected. Could contact owner through out and was very satisfied. Was overwhelmed as it was for my birthday. Balloons and chocolates was there on arrival; gifted by the owner witch was a lovely touch! Very close to the centre witch was ideal

Slight niggle with the bathroom door creaking, just needs a bit of WD40 and should be quiet as a mouse 🤣

Great little place, everything needed close by, such as shops and pubs, the studio was nicely decorated, and clean, the hot tub was great aswell.

We stayed for the second time, this time with my two young boys joined us, Helen was very accomodating from start to finish as usual, we are booking for the third time, outside private hot tub was the best, kids was very comfortable in there own bedroom, honestly over the moon with our stay, best in Penrith See you soon

Honeysuckle Cottage was lovely! Very clean, nicely decorated, all the small details were very sweet. Even having balloons, chocs and prosecco made our weekend that bit more special.

The room was decorated very nicley and the hot tub was amazing and very big just for two people, we had a really nice stay and the hosts were very friendly. It was in a good location there was plenty pubs and places to eat or shop in a short walking distance and just a short drive away we had some lovely walks in Ullswater and a nearby waterfall trail.

the mattress wasn’t the best and also parking can be an issue as people will either park in your designated spot. Also had a guy banging on the door in the morning asking me to move my car.
