Realised previously it had been a train station and has retained most of the building , quirky. The views were lovely from the bedroom and the restaurant ,Awesome . Loved the very Firm bed , and was quiet at night . Dog friendly . Pool and jacuzzi just the right size . All in all just what we needed . Everyone is different and expect different things but it was enough for us . Close to the Glencoe mountains for us to get a Munro in too 😂 ⛰️ 🥾

One of our 2 rooms was very cold and did not have a great view as the window was high up. Decor in rooms a bit tired and tiles / sealant in bathroom needed replaced in areas. Breakfast quite poor for the cost of the hotel. Swimming pool was nice but changing cubicles not ideal - flimsy, doors didn’t close properly and didn’t feel clean. It would be good to have adult only times in the pool area. Dog friendly hotel but no bins for dog waste. Paying for the location and views but the quality of the facilities / breakfast is poor given the expense of the room booking.

Great location and amazing views. Comfortable and quiet room. Dog friendly. Swimming pool and jacuzzi both great. Evening meal - lovely food. Friendly, helpful staff

Could have been asked if we wanted a downstairs room as we had 2 floors and no lift to get up and the staff did not offer to take our luggage to our room along with our dogs bed, couldn't get into room until after 3pm we arrived 2 hours earlier and were left to our owb devices.

The facilities were great and the restaurant and food were above expectations, Breakfast was ample amounts of breakfast items and never ending coffees, fruit and continental style for every ones taste.

The pool area could do with an upgrade. 2 small changing rooms. Areas that were a bit dated and in need of a clean or replaced. The jacuzzi was really warm but felt too many chemicals in it that caused stinging eyes. The pool was warm and jacuzzi had a nice view over the water and hills.

Nice staff. Good food. Clean rooms.

Wasn’t value for money - location was exceptional, staff helpful and friendly, room was tired and definitely needing modernisation. We stayed in London only a couple of weeks prior, for less, and a suit in Covent Garden. You are paying for the location but pricing is way too expensive for this hotels furnishings. Bed was solid, heating wasn’t on, pillows solid, one of the patio doors didn’t open, bathroom was super tired and in much need of a lick of paint, furnishings were old dark wood. It’s a shame really as we did enjoy our time here, but due to the price charged of over £250 per night, we wouldn’t go back.

Soundproofing from above room isn’t great…breakfast would have been better with table service given the price point but self service seemed to work l guess.

Restaurant on premises -- which is a converted railway station -- had delicious food. Dining experience was increased through the views of the water, which the restaurant overlooks. Pool and hot tub were also plusses. Walking trail was across the street, which afforded nice views of the water and surroundings. Breakfast was included in our price, which was also nice. Hotel is in a quiet location, with a lot of nature, which is just what we wanted.

The curtains on the balcony hardly block out any light when trying to sleep. The step up onto the balcony was a bit unsafe for small children, and their small shoes/feet can get stuck in the gap. (Unsure if this is the same on all balconies)

The balcony and view are great. Breakfast was usually hot buffet food, good. Evening meals were good-sized portions. Swimming pool was nice and warm. Hot tub and view was great.

    Facilities could be updated.

Incredible location on the lake. We had a balcony with a table and chairs. Furnishings are modest. Restaurant is excellent. Close proximity to Glencoe and sightseeing. Part of the hotel is a refurbished train station which closed in 1960’s.
