I was disappointed what my room did not have a wardrobe, but just few shelves. A bathroom was too small, and based on price of the hotel I do expected higher standard in bathroom. Breakfast is fine but during my 3 days of stay, the breakfast is always the same choice. For longer stay it may be disappointing. I noticed that if some food ended (tray was emptied) on breakfast, the empty tray stayed too long. For instance, scrambled eggs, after the tray was found empty, I waited for more than 15 minutes for replenishment what I considered too slow reaction from kitchen.

The staff in this hotel is exceptional, with very friendly attitude. Wi-fi is good. Cleanliness is good. Location of hotel is fine.

Spotlessly clean room, well kitted out with everything we needed (and a note saying other items could be provided complimentary as required). Birthday message and sweeties in the room on arrival for our children. Friendly staff. Play area for the kids. Great breakfast. Lovely shower. Really pleased overall!

Shame that the hotel hiked prices up due to the concert demand, but I guess that's just how business works...

Staff were excellent, stayed for the Taylor Swift concert and staff made an effort to join in and left a gift bag with water, crisps, a chocolate bar and a friendship bracelet. Food was also excellent!

One thing unfortunately there was a stain on our carpet which looked suspiciously like blood. The service manager was going to have it dealt with the next day.

Gluten free separate table with special food for coeliac. Helpful reception staff. Also dining room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms were ready promptly, and the hotel gave us each a lovely Taylor Swift gift bag. It was within easy walking distance of the venue. The manager on duty was brilliant.

Noise from other guests and hear water running when rooms above were showing or using toilet flush.

Nice room size, booked a twin and got 2 rooms instead which worked well for us. Had a nice little gift bag of goodies. Good walking, woodland path, to Murrayfield. Gluten free options at breakfast and happy to prepare separate things from the buffet for you

Bathroom was bit small but worked well for three of us. Was expensive for night but it’s supply and demand when there is a concert nearby!

Friendly staff, great location, walking distance Murrayfield. We stayed for Eras Tour and hotel had decorated for the occasion which made it extra special . Great view of castle from our room , would stay again if travelling for event at the stadium. Great breakfast too !

Because of the Taylor Swift concert the room was very expensive but all hotels were the same

Price was high but so we're all hotel and BnB prices for that weekend. To be fair, given the proximity to the venue, this was high, but okay.

Staff and hotel worked really hard to make the army of Swifties welcome (Taylor Swift concert at Murrayfield). The welcome bag was a lovely touch.

Not as close to the city center as we hoped but there were frequent busses.

Great breakfast. Well designed room to maximize the space. Very helpful staff at the front desk.
