Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomCar park lift out of order (pre-warned), but other hotel lifts sound and feel as if they will rapidly become out of order before long! It was very noticeable ihg direct bookings obviously permitted earlier access to rooms (pre 4pm) than booking.com customers, not a major issue, but it might be worth being more discrete.. Bedroom windows required more cleaning than had been given, meaning dirt beyond just salt spray had built up from the (admittedly) amazing sea facing location. Also the bathroom sink had a plug that wouldn't fully stop water leaking out. There was a gap of about an hour, we discovered, between when hotel stops serving food in the bar of an evening to when night duty takeover with their limited menu, thankfully there are nearby takeaway shops open late and just eat delivers.. Overall we enjoyed the stay. There were just those few little things that need attention to raise the feel of the establishment..

United KingdomFirst day the room was cold and heating was not working but maintenance couldn’t attend until following morning. However staff attended promptly and did all they could to find additional heating. It fortunately did warm up very well. It was followed up later with them asking if everything was OK. Restaurant a bit slow but not because of staff as they seemed all out to impress. Also breakfast particularly on last day was lacking in restocking of food at the buffet but again staff were incredibly helpful and willing to help every time.
Location, comfort, cleanliness, great welcome with free hot drinks whilst waiting for check in. That made an incredible difference as we were very tired on arrival. Also the courtesy and understanding of staff on several occasions as I was with my elderly mum was very much appreciated by us.

United KingdomI didn’t like that it was only a shower and no shower mat, so it was impossible to clean my children as very slippery. Also impossible to reach the soap right at the top while holding an 18 mo do he didn’t slip. Luckily it was only one night. Breakfast was quite poor. No pastries for ages, no juice, no water. Felt like restaurant wasn’t prepared for the number of guests.
As expected, clean, staff was mostly great except for restaurant, fairly comfortable…
