Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomRoom heating was very noisy at night - radiator ticked on any setting. Swimming pool cold for me! Starbucks coffee too expensive. We changed from allocated room due to buzzing noise on arrival - outside aircon? Allocated room was smaller but fine. Couldn't book second night at the front desk, had to do it online and so lost out on IHG points, which was disappointing.
Good location, good food - dinner and breakfast. Buffet breakfast as expected from IHG chain - nice selection, good value. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Nice overall feeling with decor, space, atmosphere. Great to have a decent size pool.

United KingdomThe scaffolding on the outside it looked like it was closed on first arrival..maybe prior warning? Air conditioning unit was noisy in the night. And maybe should have been 2 lots of snacks as there was 2 people in the room So we didn't have fight over who had the kit kat 😊

United KingdomVery small shower room, cramped. Was not impressed with the barking dog in the room 2 doors down or its noisy owners but it was quiet by 10.30pm until 8am so did not complain. Dirty net curtains, otherwise the room was clean.
Good location. Excellent breakfast options. Staff were friendly and helpful. An issue at dinner was handled promptly by management. We had absolutely no cause for complaint.
