Coffee maker was not working properly. Shower tray seems had a stain or a mark. Not sure was it from wear or not cleaned properly. It would be nice to have some useful hooks in the bathroom to hang used bathrobe or clothes for changing. And it steamed a lot, perhaps needs better ventilation...

Breakfast was good, lots of choice: continental and fool english breakfast. Shower was very good and bathroom was filled with essentials.

grumpy staff when we booked in. There was an issue with water pipes banging at various of times through the evening and night. The staff were clearly aware of this when we brought it up so why was the room in use ?

Maintenance guy was great when we discovered a broken socket on check in.

Price could be cheaper. I would have preferred to be closer to town. I chose this hotel due to the swimming pool. But the Jacuzzi was unavailable for use which was a shame.. .that was the whole point in choosing this hotel

From the outside hotel looks very outdated and like a council building. The toilet sink was blocked.

Very central location. Only 10 mins walk from GUNWHARF QUAY shopping mall and restaurants. Good Breakfast and Dinner. The pool and Suana / Steam room are very nice. Very Clean Hotel.

The one thing that I didn't like was the lack of staff. The staff did their best but they can't be in two places at once and they can only do one job at a time. This is NOT what I expected from a four star hotel. I would very much like to hear your comments.

The room was ok but rather small as was the bathroom. As we were only staying one night it didn't matter too much. Having said that it was lovely and clean. Dinner was the biggest disappointment, we waited over an hour and it was NOT AT ALL good when it did arrive in fact for what it cost it was pretty poor. Breakfast though was great.

There was no milk for the cereals in restaurant, had to pinch it from coffee machine.Also one morning no bowls to put my cornflakes in. The young staff seemed to be chatting instead of working.

I love the location, Portsmouth. Only had breakfast which was very nice, bedroom clean and refreshed every day.

The breakfast was mostly good although the coffee was horrible & they didn’t have any brown or seeded bread on any of our 3 days. The room was a bit tired & shabby in places.

We liked the swimming pool & the size of the room. We liked the room getting a refresh clean every day with new towels.

The room - a premium room for which we had paid a premium rate - was very disappointing. While it had a lovely sea view, it was small and not very clean. The paintwork was patchy and there was drops of paint on the furniture and carpet. The paintwork was also marked with what looked like spilt drinks and the room generally felt uncared for. The fridge also buzzed intermittently and had to be turned on and off to stop the noise.

The ground floor and front of house were lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was well prepared and tasty.
