Good Breakfast, with good room, that was quiet and provided all our needs. The location was very helpful to look around Portsmouth and the surrounding area.

The fact we had twin beds. Room smaller than usual. Breakfast: On the first morning, we paid for a full breakfast. Firstly, no china mugs, only paper ones. Coffee machines not working properly. Cooked breakfast: no bacon, some mushrooms lying in water - otherwise okay. Mini- croissants and pain au chocolat didn’t seem freshly baked.

Room - smaller than we have had in the past. Thought we had booked a room with a double bed, turned out we has twin beds. Liked: public areas, like the bar

Park is a joke at this hotel. We stay and many hotel all over the world and this was the worse. We had to pay to park here. Which I think is very unfair when the hotel cost so much money

    Staff was very friendly

Bathroom facilities were a bit cramped. You open the bathroom door , tiolet straight infront, you needed to close door to access the shower . Not enough room to swing a cat.

Breakfast facilities excellent Locatio , couldn't wish for better.

The beds were a little uncomfortable and at times the room was a bit hot but there was no control over the air con unit. Also a bit more natural daylight would have been nice.

Great breakfast and plenty of choice! Location is brilliant, we were able to walk within 20 mins of the Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays.

The first 2 breakfasts were fine The last was a bit of a let down starting with no milk in coffee machine, no sausages, baked beans, mushrooms and jam, after asking staff was told that they had ran out of the breakfast items (could not believe that had happened at only 8.45am)they did resolve the coffee problem.

    Good selection of breakfast items.

Had to pay for disabled parking in the street with a permit from the hotel even though it would have been free in the car park. I got 6 people to have rooms for our daughters wedding and phoned to ask if there was a discount and got cut off both times

Hotel seemed dated, felt like it needed decorating. When got back to hotel in evening went to go for a drink at the bar and there were lots of empty glass dinner plates left on the table, so went straight up to our room instead

Location for what we wanted was good, nice walk along the coast to Gunners wharf

We had a constant droning in our room which disturbed my sleep; couldn’t work out where it was coming from.

Location was great and the hotel is lovely and clean. Good supply of hot drinks in your room and individual packets of biscuits a nice touch.

The bathroom was very small, which was disappointing for a premier room. The sachets of hot chocolate were not replenished. Used glass not washed/replaced with a clean one.

Very impressed with the breakfast, good selection to choose from. Good location, close to lots of restaurants.

I accidentally booked an accessible ground floor room which meant noise from men revving their car and motorbike engines outside the window. Also a weird stain on the curtains that just need to be changed for minimal cost.

Location was good, not in the town centre so quieter, but close enough to walk it. Right next to Portsea common, and on 3 bus routes, so an easy walk to the shoreline. A solid 3 star hotel.
