We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRoom 1: Cleaning chemicals had been spilt and left so the room has a strong smell that had been slightly camouflaged by the open window. Had to sleep with head covered to prevent inhaling the fumes. Tried to call reception the next day, but no answer. Room 2: Housekeeping missed the room out during their rounds.

The staff were super friendly, at the reception, the bar and Fernanda in the restaurant were brilliant. The location was very good, very easy to get everywhere.

United KingdomWe booked half board, breakfast and dinner. wish we didn't .. the breakfast was excellent , but the evening dinner was not good. a crazy touch pad ordering system. especially if you book half board. very unclear on what you are entitled to. if you book half board, you are not entitled to everything on the menu. and one particular waiter was not helpful. it must be a different evening chef, because the evening meal is not good. the room was fairly comfortable. tv remote not working all the time, shower leaks onto the bathroom floor, bed was very hard, we are soft southerners!!
Our stay was very much a last minute booking. all the staff except one chap in the restaurant were excellent. the carpark, even though expensive, £5 a day, was very good. location is very good. easy access to the sea front, and shopping. the self serve breakfast is the best I've every had at a hotel. could do with some black pudding though :)....

United KingdomFire alarm went off 4 times Fri 1st March. Not good and when I reported this a complimentary drink and snack was offered. I did not feel this was sufficient recompense and member of staff said she would discuss with her manager. When I checked out on the Monday I expected it to be written on my account. Nope. So raised issue again and gentlemen on reception addressed this and offered me £20 which was acceptable.
Overall clean and well maintained room. The place had a good ambience.

United KingdomSmall bedroom, small bathroom (but both practical)! Television channels very random (bbc 1 was around number 28!)!! Bedroom window only opens small way, and air con in room wasn’t really cold (just an air blower!). Public toilets dirty. Swimming pool changing rooms dirty. Breakfast not always hot and not always refilled quickly. Too many “is your stay 10” cards everywhere. (If you have them out then you need to act on them.. for example breakfast not being replenished quickly!).
Great location. Easy access to the main attractions just a short walk. Enough parking spaces mostly, and they offer street parking option if no spaces. Breakfast was mostly great. Last day they didn’t top it up as quickly as the other breakfast but the food offered was tasty and great selection! Swimming pool and sauna/steamroom/jacuzzi were a nice touch. Bedroom clean, comfortable bedding and bathroom with everything you need. Nice touch having hot chocolate! Staff mostly approachable, most with a lot of knowledge and restaurant staff mostly great too.
